Ecc 9:12 For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.

The real question is WHY is HARD WORK NOT ENOUGH? Ask yourself that. The real answer is because those who have made it, and foreign competitors especially, have a vested interest to use the power of government and the captured financial systems to make it so hard work is not enough. That neutralizes many key safeguards to our society, a society about bootstrapping and a self-made person. So who benefits when the hard working, sane, non-criminal people have The Struggle, a real struggle, whereas we hear about certain groups and demographics (i.e. woman, blacks, especially black woman) with 'the struggle'. No, the struggle is real and it is for those who work hard and the oppressor often occupies administrative state that has been captured by vested interests who have weaponized it against you, the average hard working potentially middle class or 'merely rich' person, by people who are vastly wealthy, the uber-rich, the foreign 'billionaire class' you hear Bernie speak of. There is a distinction between merely rich and realize the administrative state defines middle class as anyone who makes roughly 25k to 75k so people who are in reality Thousandaires get shafted and are the vast majority of the working class and the 'hard workers'. Few make it to the 'merely rich' category, and by that standard when you feel rich is someone who has like a million dollars or more, the federal government feels anyone who makes over 75k is upper class and thus 250k is 'rich' in their eyes. Well, how does someone get to that level? Realize that hard work is necessary and one thing you give up when you have a salary making, say 80 to 160k a year is stress and lack of time for personal life as your real struggle. They are paying you for that. So is the speech to say hard work is not enough for those who want to be uberwealthy, and not merely rich? If so, then yes, preparing for a crisis to capitalize and screwing over vast amounts of people like we saw in 2008 and during the Pandemic then is necessary beyond hard work. You need circumstances you can leverage, and crush people's dreams and hopes in the process. So you can know who the true villains are by who are the winners in these special times of opportunity as they'll understand them. Fun fact, that is a Chinese point of view that Chaos and Crisis are Opportunity. 5,000 years of history teachers you lessons like that, but realize what that is actually saying. It is a mindset that is born out of taking clear advantage in a time of real strife and struggle that will force outcomes that normally might not be possible.
