Highly recommend my phone wasn't just stuck in a boot loop like his, mine was stuck on the M for Motorola but no flashing or movement just frozen, a few times holding power and it woke up , so thanks I subscribed and thumbs 👍 for the help

Very informative video, and I really appreciate all I learned from it, I think I have a better(wider) awareness of mobile devices and their limitations, specifically how their hardware may malfunction, at least, as practically applied... See, my phone fell off of an older agitating clothes washer when it kicked into spin cycle. We have said machine placed, offset, to the garden, and use it for outdoor cloths/nets (things like mop heads, canopy walls, and things of that nature). So it's spin cycles are regularly *seismic - but it only flew but by 3.5ft, and landed in soft, clean dirt. But it did smack the side of the other washer pretty good, now that I think about it.. but in full disclosure, I did have a *few apps that I knew better than downloading (I LOVE playing online slots)..... hahahaha Anyway, as I said, I appreciate you and your consideration in publishing this video because, as I have been online all morning, yours is the first I've seen, including: non-video articles, manufacturer websites, reader-board websites, forum websites, published/reaserched expert opinions, tutorials, paid/gratis software recovery tools, bootleg/copycat software replacement, etc., which gives even the hint of a hardware malfunction that's possibly solved with some (albeit palpating) *brute force haha Also, the time you take requesting the *poorsoul to REPEAT all steps up to 7 times, before considering a factreset, says a lot about the insight you have into this Moto product, and, without explaining, you convey that information in the instructed approach, which I think could (if applied at scale) impact the relationship between your audience and their devices, I know it has mine, and I mean that. Anyway... hahaha, my one question is this: I am in the process of repeating the 7, and in the event that a factreset is necessary, I already know that my boot loop is impeding the selector (power) button from accessing the recovery menu ... Is that any indication that my boot loop is infact *spyware/virus? Is there anything I can do to *backdoor the *backdoor? haha, meaning: any other way into the recovery menu? Fyi: I do have access to a computer, but then it becomes a community (family) issue, which I'd rather not have hahahaha ... But again, thank you! And PLEASE! PUBLISH MORE GREAT VIDEOS 👍🏽

Hey, thank you so much for this video my phone was stuck in a reboot loop for hours where it kept being stuck rebooting every 5 seconds. Couldn't do anything about it even in recovery mode as it kept booting whilst trying to do it in recovery. Amazingly, putting it in the freezer actually worked, and I only had to put it in there for a minute (might have been an issue with overheating)? You are a saviour!

After data factory reset it says, "Boot failed, Press POWER KEY to Retry" Then it says other things under that like your device didn't start up correctly etc When I press power it attempts to reboot and then comes back to this screen. Help!

I did a good amount of rough massage at the backside of my phone and hold power button for 2 minutes. It worked for me thankyou so much. I was only left with factory reset option then I encountered this video.

When I take the phone out of the freezer step, it displays that the battery is at 0%. Does that indicate a different issue? I've repeated the steps twice so far and get that same thing out of the freezer (which wasn't at all mentioned in the video, so that makes me think it might be another clue as to what is wrong with the device).

I can't turn off my phone 🤳 I keep it on 24/7. Because if I try to do a update or turn off my phone it turns back on and get stuck on a bootloop on the Motorola logo. I have to press the power button until it vibrates and wait for the logo to come back on . And the phone will boot up . When it does not boot up I have to do this 3 times until my phone boots up normal. It's probably a software problem.

I just bought mine about an hour ago and already have a bootloop. Tapping did nothing for me. Factory reset did nothing for me. In fact, a factory reset caused this. The phone was used essentially as a display phone that wasn't displayed, so I wanted a fresh start on it by resetting it, if that makes sense. I'm going to download the firmware and reinstall it. Fingers crossed. Man I miss my 10 year old Note 3 already. Update: the Motorola software repair tool fixed it with a fresh firmware download and install.

It's funny that every video I've watched I'm told to do the same bulls@#t stuff to do to no effect. Mine was 3 days out of the box when it started that was about 5 months ago. And honestly slapping the s*** out of my brand new phone to fix it just seems a little bit fishy to me. Let's pretend it doesn't work and save people a lot of time. Most boot loops are caused by software corruption.

These phones were made with internal glitches,. They should have been recalled. I have done all of these steps to mine. At first it will eventually work, but it gets worse as it goes. Mine has been a problem since I bought it. Don't suggest buying this phone. You shouldn't have to do this to any phone.
