There's actually a little diagram there explaining how to remove the SIM, but I didn't understand what it was telling me to do. It makes sense now. 😂

really helpful, I thought I had put the card in the wrong place.

For those who still couldn't find the lever - on your left, on the metal part, there is a small protrusion of metal, I used a pen to pull it down. Once you pull it down it stays down, you will know once it clicks. your sim card will come out once the lever is pulled down and goes up once you insert a sim card again. Thanks android doctor for saving us :)
