It looks nice and easy , I need one for my Moto Morini, Im not keen on scotchlocks, but I guess they are convenient. However I love the Rory track, he is one of my heros.

Yes, Rory is also one of my heros 😀, in this case, the scotchlock does the trick, but I agree soldering would be better. They also make them for the Moto Morini. www.elektronik-sachse.de/shopsystem-3/de/digitale-zuendung-zdg-3-23-fuer-morini-350.html

Thanks for the clear instruction, thinking of placing an electronic ignition on my V65 Cafe Racer but the improved Robers condensors work very well so for now....(and I'm gonna enjoy my Quota1000). Where did you put the battery ? What kind of battery did you use ? Wouldn't you like a more sporty throttle like on my Targa, I would on my V65CR.
@neophobiagarage18452 жыл бұрын
The battery is in the seat cowling, it is a Lithium Powerblock - LPB 3.3AH - 13,2 Volt 3300mAh Li-Ion from BMZ.

which throttle would you recomend
@emmahoeve2 жыл бұрын
@@neophobiagarage1845 The original throttle on my Targa works very well. It's got a cable-doubler under the tank. Won't fit the styling of your Guzzi though.

Morning. 👍 Great video - great music 😂. I have fitted the Ekektronica system to my Le Mans engine and am looking to fit to my V50 Monza. Works well. Two things I’m not sure about. Perhaps you could help? Have not even looked yet to be fair. Obviously I need to take the contact breakers and cam ‘plate’ off. Do you need pullers to take the cam plate off or will it come off with some persuasion? Can’t find references in the manual. What did you do - assuming it wasn’t already off your V65? Secondly out of interest, obviously I can measure once I have it off but, do you know which cam shaft (11/12/14 mm) I’ll need to order with the Monza? Many thanks, David. 👍

@@neophobiagarage1845🤣 It was a bit tight so I didn’t really want to put a lot of force on it but it eventually came off!👍

@:39 - how did you take out that "mechanical ignition advancer? I got an old 84' v65, kinda rusted at certain parts but not corroded- I can't get it out but I've gotten it down to this!
@neophobiagarage18452 жыл бұрын
normally you just take it off once the points are out. Give it some WD 40 and gently warm it up with a heat gun, it shall come off without to much effort.....

@@neophobiagarage1845 thanks- I have tried heating it a bit but i'll try some more! THank you for your response. - J

Is it MZ ets fuel tank and K-750 headlight? Where did you get this ignition kit from?
@neophobiagarage18453 жыл бұрын
yes MZ ETS tank, chinese replica K-750 lamp, and the electronic ignition is from Elektromik Sachse www.elektronik-sachse.de/shopsystem-3/de/digitale-zuendung-zdg-3-23-fuer-guzzi-v35-65-nevada.html

@@runevahl7213 there are 3 different sizes of the camshaft diameter, 11,12,14 mm. You have to measure the size and order accordingly. In my case it was 12 mm.

Try another brand. I have one of these and after two years it has failed twice with two of the 9 channels now not working. Trying a Newtronic ignition but struggling due to a lack of a few parts that were thrown away when the previous owner installed this POS system
