Those are some very impressive motorcycles,really great engineering,love to have a rip of one,this could be a class for the older rider that has the heart ,but not the back to ride super bike ,great riding ,great series 😎

I want to see a gold wing in the series. Let all makes who have a bagger touring model buold something that meets the standard. I think it would be amazing

Hey Motoamerica, why not homologate also the Goldwings, Yamaha Star Eluders, BMW K 1600’s, Vulcan 1700’s, instead of just Harley and Indian? Then we’ll know who the real kings of the baggers are, both pilots and machines.

I think it’s more of technical terms. Cause you don’t really call those bikes baggers even though they are similar bikes with the touring aspect. I think baggers are more of a slang term for heritage motorcycles like HD and Indian. Would be cool to see a gold wing ripping it though

I myself am pretty happy just seeing the American bikes but aside from that I don't think the other manufacturers are interested in backing performance versions of their touring bikes. I could be wrong though. Anyways, totally love American big twins going buck wild!!! Harley-Davidson for the WIN!!!

Would make more sense to do engine specifics. Touring V-twin baggers. the BMW K1600 is going to be silly fast in comparison due to the mechanical differences between a V-twin and an inline 6. I wouldn't mind seeing the Yamaha and Kawasaki baggers mixed in though. I don't think they have anything to give an actual fight however. Could also have an unlimited event where they all do actually compete. But anything besides those flat4/6s and inline 6s are going to look terrible in comparison. GW might have a harder time in corners due to length and lean angle.

@@DoctorZisIN That was what I was talking about when I said flat 4/6. Boxer engine are also known as flat engines. I know the GW is fast in a line but they're also longer and the engine is already wide and low. I think any track with plenty of corners might handicap it a good bit. I might be exaggerating those issues but I know Goldwings have a harder time than HD or Indian bikes doing any low speed obstacle courses. One of the main benefits to a boxer style engine is how low you can keep the center of gravity compared to a V or inline engine. In a car that helps a lot (Porsche's whole existence being weight/performance/balance oriented) but on a bike having a wider base real low is detrimental after a certain width.

I’m about a heartbeat away from going back to Suzuki or Yamaha.... at least when you spend big money, you get a bike with all the bells and whistles to get you on the track!

I wish Harley would start production of racier bikes in general. There’s a whole new gen of riders that would move to baggers, if they didn’t have to change literally everything. ie; I bought a 2019 road glide. Suspension sux, exhaust and programmer sux, handlebars sux, factory Dunlop’s suck too.

@@MotoAmerica I did and watched a video of invited riders, that went out to Nevada and test rode the ST street and Road glide. IMO, they still don’t get it. Performance bagger guys are similar to the CVO guys. They will pay, but give them something that they can identify with. CVO’s are hand made by one guy, tons of bells and whistles. ST....... eliminate the rear pegs, a solo seat, slight front suspension upgrade but not the rear. No performance exhaust, no mapping, funky cruiser bars. Need I say more. So buy the ST for about 30k, then strip most of it for aftermarket. Makes no sense. Again, my opinion.

Kawasaki motor company has owned Harley Davidson since 2014, so Harley Davidson is only a name. In reality Harley Davidson is now a Japanese motorcycle company.
