Compliments!There's tons of guys out there doing reviews but none so enthusiastically. Long story short, I'm 51 years old, In my 20's I had 3 bikes, Harley Shovel, Triumph Bonnie and an unmentionable. After a serious accident I hadn't been on a bike for 25 years. I owe a great deal to you because of that enthusiasm and love of riding that I'm back on a bike again...a XL1200 CB Custom. So keep it up you're even inspiring us old guys!!!

Enjoyable review, as usual. Your enthusiasm is contagious. I've never really considered a Harley, but one's definitely on the card's. I'm always looking out for that little pub near the 'chicane' on your test route. Maybe pop in for half a shandy sometime. 😉

Seeing this machine in a video really doesn’t do it enough justice. I’ve ridden and seen this bike in person and it’s absolutely Stunning!!! Harley got an A+ on this thing ... And the sound with Vance Hines exhaust is complete Asphalt Orchestra !!!

Fantastic review as usual! I have the same exact bike (although 2016) and enjoy it very much. I've nicknamed it "The General". The aesthetics and performance as a cruiser are spot on. I am also blessed to have a Hard Candy Big Red Flake 2013 HD Dyna Street Bob ("The Redhead") and a Black 2012 HD Sportster Nightster ("The Black Knight") as well. The rides all have different personalities for the type of ride I'm intending to have for the day. HD have it dialed in right for me. As they say, "Four wheels move the body, two wheels moves the soul." Many thx for the great vids!

Great review mate. Love my Softail S especially with some tweaks. I have a feeling that the brakes on your test bike were not quite right as mine are very sharp and powerful.

Trash bin those floorboards and redo the foot controls and you've got yourself a very nice handling ride. I do wish that H.D. would go to the 18 x 5.5" rims. That would bring it up and then you can rip the corners without scraping $ off the bike. As always a great cruise about. Can't get out to ride much anymore but these videos help so much. Thank you.

You say the engine feels a bit less powerfull than the fxdls, i find that the rubbermounted engines on dynas are just a bit quicker in general than the counterbalanced ones on softails.

Sounds amazing when you get into it.

I have a 2014 fls softail slim, i was speeding alittle and leaning switching lanes when it went into a death wobble. I side swiped a SUV and it slowed me down enough to control tthe wobble.

cool, I'll be sure to consider the dyna low rider S before I make a final decision.

I’ve come back to this review after a few years. I’m looking for something a bit different for a two month trip around the Med… this could be the bike.. bizarre but the other option is a Himy 400….

Let me ask you... what do you feel about the plataforms ? I'm sort of used to the traditional pedals... This plataform seens odd, specially for lane spliting. WHat is your opinion ?

Them short shots sounds very good. Doesn’t seem too loud like the guys who take the baffles out. Which baffles are in the do you know? I hate the sound when someone gets on it and then lets it’s run out and it starts A rattle sound at the end of the gear

How was the suspension over bumps?

As an American, the white lines differentiating the way road give me anxiety. We use yellow here, white is for differentiating the lanes on the same side of the road.

Hey man, absolutely love your reviews! I need ask a huge favor. Can you contact your local dealer and see if they have a part for this bike? I bought it back in November of last year and cannot find the luggage rack and I'm about to go on a trip, I would love to have it. It's part number 54298-11. How many pounds(weight) is the bike? Is it on the lighter side?
