I travelled around Cuba in Oct 2019 and had a wonderful time, friendly people and never ever felt threatened even in Havana. I stayed mostly in casa particulares, which are private homes that have been allowed by the government to operate as a B&B, I met sooo many friendly families this way. In Viñales the owners were almost in tears when I had to leave after a few days, we had such a good friendship, drinking a little rum on the porch at night talking about life. The only downside from my 2 month trip was all the European group tourists swarming around Havana, in the nice restaurants it was mostly tourists and a few locals which didn’t feel authentic. If your lucky enough to visit Cuba only spend a couple of days in Havana (which is actually quite beautiful) and then leave and discover the real Cuba. Thanks for a cool videolog.

Two minutes into the video and I've felt like you were in Heaven. It is definetely on my bucket list. Just to find a way to ship my bike from Canada. On a side note, it is comforting to see how friendly are the people from what we call third world countries, natural and friendly. Respect them, respect their customs, don't do anything stupid and your trip will be a dream adventure.

Watched Silkroad and this back to back. Initially I was impatient to hear commentary. Now I know less is more.
