I've really come to enjoy motorcycle camping more and more - as I get more time on the bike I've got increasingly comfortable. Being that I've tried the Honda Monkey, Yamaha TW200 and the CRF300 Honda Rally, I've found I feel most comfortable on the smaller bikes and I'll continue to work up to the larger ones. Usually I tent camp when moto camping but this area does not allow dispersed camping so I had to go back to my truck camper as a home base which I find I prefer more than off roading with a larger rig - I worry less and can get further. Any reason to get out, enjoy the weather and take in these beautiful nature views is okay with me! Thanks for watching!

Love riding bikes on the back roads and rabbit trails. Freedom 😊 I find standing gives me more stability when riding on the trail. Absolutely gorgeous

I'm glad that you went down to a smaller bike. Always cool to have options. If you are going to load up the Monkey, check some of the forums, or ask around about upgrading the springs/shocks to handle the additional weight. 😉

that looked like ssssssooooooo much fun riding. nice views, rough ride and coming down it looked like you almost biffed it just coming into the aspens with the rock on left . like a nice hike up to the scenic lookout, only on a monkey- loved it.

Taking some pressure out of those tires would help with trail riding in those looser conditions. It's especially helpful with rocks. Just be sure not to go too low, and risk having a rock compress the tire, and cut itself on the rim. You'll notice a lot better riding characteristics if you get the pressure on those tires right for the set of conditions.

Great video Hannah! For off road riding, try lowering your tire pressure. This will give you more traction and a softer ride. For the steep downhills, try putting the bike in low gear and use light brake inputs to control your speed.

It’s so wonderful you like motorcycles ! I grew up with them thank to my motorcycle crazy dad. I have ridden constantly since 1973. Still do on my Suzuki DR-Z400 ! But I go a bit slower now. No crazy antics. Be safe out there !

Heck yeah Hanna! I just got back from about a 4 hour ride on my favorate minibike that I've owned since I was 11, a 1975 honda Z50A, and it's now 1:30 in the morning.... I've got a really rare CT70H engine in it and it'll top out at about 55mph's. That little sucker's so much fun to ride, and is so cool just to look at, i get complements and thumbs-ups every where I go... I once had a girlfriend 22 years ago and she wanted me to give it to her kids and i told her no, and then I started building another one for them. But only about a month later she found someone better i guess. I sure am glad now that I've still got it.... Besides me mum, its been the most reliable thing thats ever been in my life. I'll never get rid of her, and thats a big for sure....
