Motorcycle Helmet Too Loud? We have all been there. When a helmet is too loud, it makes riding your motorcycle less enjoyable. Today, I am showing you how to instantly make your helmet 3X quieter.
Thanks to Sebastian Solo from the Ruroc Motorcycle Gang Facebook Page for this idea.

I recently picked up a bluetooth system and noticed it actually made my helmet louder by removing the foam that was in the speaker cutouts. This is a genius idea and I just ordered these and am looking forward to trying this out! Thank you so much.

Good video man! Sena has a different width's of pads that can bring the speakers out closer to your ear. I tried it on my trip to Sturgis and my ears were killing me! I've been told carbon fiber helmets are louder, but it was tested by Champion helmets as one of the quietest. I will receive these today and am crossing my fingers. I have the Cardo packtalk black and tried the newer version before that and they don't get loud enough, which tells you my ambient noise is too high. I have near perfect hearing.

I prefer the quiet ride helmets. They have ear cups with air bladders behind them. Once you put the helmet on and get the ear muffs over your ears, you pump up the air bladder for a custom fit. As i have tinnitus this is a great help. I also use earplugs in combination with it. Really quiet. They come with speakers. You can also just buy a kit for your existing helmet.

I have the HD version of the HJC i90 with the sena 10b installed. I’m gonna try and place the pads under the thin cloth attached to the cheek pads but over the speakers. hopefully it works. I purchased the sena so I can enjoy sone tunes to and from work. but never dawned on me that the music would be competing with wind noise. Can’t even tell what song is playing over 70 MPh. Hope this works!!

@@nickm7394 yes they fit perfectly. There actually a lot smaller than I was expecting. Small enough to fit between the snaps.

If I wear a thin balaclava, that's enough material to make it way too hard to get the helmet on. My one helmet is impossible to get on. I have several helmets and it's the same for all. Not silk, but regular t shirt thickness.

I can’t do it in my 4.0 but the 3 was a bit looser fit and it allowed me to do it.

I haven’t felt any discomfort other putting the helmet on itself being a little harder. Once it’s on, it’s not pressing against my ears fully, it’s reducing the amount of open space inside the helmet.
