Turkey was the 12th country I visited. At the border I was greeted by Ahmet and Fahrid who showed me around the Kaçkar Mountains. We had to cut out a little of the adventure due to my first flat tire ever on this trip.
From Trabzon I headed to Cappadiocia. The balloon flight was one of the most unforgettable moments on my RTW trip. It is one of those places where photos, as spectacular as they are just don’t come close to experiencing it in person.
From here on though the problems with Chillie only got worse...

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
