Absurd if we think about it , riding a bike too heavy to lift solo, off road . But again tipped my Versys 650 over at the gate to my residence , and needed help to lift it .

British Columbia has an area of almost 950,000 sq. kms. and is one mountain range after another from the Pacific Ocean to the Rocky Mtns. I have traveled around the world extensively and have never found a place more beautiful or as fascinating.

You can get a cheap pair of ratchet tie downs for $15 from The Warehouse or Bunnings , which all you need for the ferries. I still have the 4 I bought decades ago , that have done multiple crossings

The Māori traditional origin location is Hawaiki , not to be confused with Hawaii: "Their traditional history describes their origins in terms of waves of migration that culminated in the arrival of a “great fleet” in the 14th century from Hawaiki, a mythical land usually identified as Tahiti."

The color of that last river was incredible!! And the deer farm--wow! I have seen packs of NZ venison at a grocery in my area in western Washington state, and the price was reasonable, given how far it traveled!

i rode through there on a Z1 two up in 1973 on a pioneer motorcycle club motorbike rally. the road was not public then and was a access road for one of the electricity companies. you had to have all sorts of permission to go through, the road wasn't maintained and we lost a ute and quite a few bikes.

Pesky sandflies, hope the stunning scenery made it feel worthwhile. Your Lone Rider ADV tent looks much bigger in this video, maybe just the camera angle.

I don't why you don't like riding in a rain. I would love to ride in a rain, only if I have waterproof gears.

You randomly show up in my you tube because I love motorcycle adventures. If you actually took the time to say what country you are in or something helpful as I have not travelled 1. how’s my hair and 2. Just up and up with your voice I believe you could improve your videos. Good luck
