Makha Bucha day 2021. A buddhist holiday so many headed for the coast and beaches with their families and friends. Bang Saray Beach has nice sand and is a great place for sunset too. A ride of only 30 minutes from Pattaya. Lots of restaurants to choose from serving Thai and western food and snacks. Easy parking for motorbikes. This area has some great seafood restaurants and small hotels to stay at. Very popular with locals and expats alike.

@@EddieManning if you have the license, why not have a word with the Royal Enfield dealers in Bangkok (apparently they assemble bikes in Thailand too?) and ask to see their new 411cc Himalayan? ...A VERY easy bike to ride and own, IF they have any, as they are HUGELY popular in Asia, and with the lightweight adventure bike community worldwide! I'd go for the 650cc Interceptor as I love 1970's style machinery and the "do anything" nature of the design. What better excuse to get out and do some more filming in rural areas, and you MIGHT meet up with Lucas from "Ride4Kickz", as you know, he's moved into Pattaya and he knows some nice places to ride!

Just saw Loucous about 30 minutes ago. I have tons of film from Southern and Northern Thailand motorcycle tours in 2020. Some great footage for 2 series but editing is a daunting (and time consuming task). Will try and make a start.

You can leave your helmets on your bikes and they won't be gone when you return? They would be gone in two minutes here in America. Too many heroine junkies here. I can't imagine living in true freedom and having that carefree experience. Envy you guys!

Expensive helmets more likely to be stolen. Most helmets have a secure fastener that clips under the seat to secure it. Most scooters have space under the seat for a helmet. Open face helmets cost about $25 US Dollars. Rarely stolen. Thailand is quite safe in most areas.
