Motorcycle Touring Dorset coast | Crash, cafe & castles

Day 2 of our Motorcycle tour of the Dorset Coast known as the Jurassic coast. After Visiting two Biker Cafes The Old Boys Cafe & Bar and S Bomb Motorcycle workshop and cafe we follow the Dorset coast on the Motorbikes taking in Corfe Castle and the Beautiful Lulworth Cove next to Durdle door. We Stop to check on a biker who had a crash on his bike with Spectacular results. Riding this part of the Dorset Coastline on the Africa Twin crf1100 has been a real treat and we will be touring the Dorset Coast again soon.

Wow, Rich and Ewa, that was a rollercoaster of surprises! I mean, who knew hitting a curve could turn a wheel into a spokeless wonder? 😂 And that cozy cafe-bar with a barber chair? Talk about unexpected perks! The vintage workshop with a view of boats sailing by? Sign me up for that vibe! And spotting that VW Beetle instantly brought back memories of Herbie - the OG love bug! Impressive that he picked that up and moved it without an attached front wheel and still got it stood up. Glad he was ok. Makes me happy that I didn’t skimp on getting mainstream bikes, and mostly with spoked wheels, for my son as he progressed.

lovely ride. Wasp in a crash helmet - nasty. Had that happen to me back in the day before disc brakes and it seemed to take a long to to stop, get gloves off and fumble around getting the strap undone, all while the wasp was stinging on my temple!

Haha! A motorcycle with crumple zones🤦‍♂🤦‍♂ That bike in the Old Boys Cafe was a Kawasaki W800 by the look of it, crackin little bikes. Not been in there yet, must pop in sometime. I'm intrigued to know where you stand when you fly the drone, especially down at Lulworth. Great footage over Corfe, it's on my "to drone" list but was gonna do it early one morning so I didn't get nagged. They're very quick to tell you you can't fly over it, but they don't own the airspace above it. They do say you can't take off or land from their land though. Another great video, subbed.

Ah yes, I was trying to remember what the ‘W’ stood for! Old boys was good, have you been to S Bomb yet? There are lots of drone rules and regs, and different ones apply to different size drones too, also dictates licence etc. what drone do you fly?

What an awesome video! It had a bit of everything including sunshine! ☀😎 I really felt for that lad on his Lexmoto, the wheels must be made from monkey metal, that is shocking how easy it collapsed 😲 The drone footage in this video is brilliant, especially around the castle, I haven't been to Dorset for years, you've made me want to go now! Nice one 👍

For a recommendation try Emma's Cafe at Pure Triumph in Woburn. Sadly not open on Sunday, but because you're in the area go to the Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden, especially on Sunday.

Poor guys bike, that should never happen surely? Every Spoke snapped! We havent done loomies yet but we will! Are we getting a reputation for liking posh things lol..... Ewa will have a mint tea when the coffee is instant!

Wow, do you attract accidents 😂 I have never seen that ever! Think he may have been going slightly fast! Excellent, the old boys cafe used to be an indoor market, I lived up the road from there pre covid, I’ll have to check it out now. Beautiful views from Lulworth, honestly it’s so busy there in the good weather we head over early morning or late evening, definitely wouldn’t walk Durdle Dor in bike gear! Fab vid guys 😊 a tropical 28° here today!

Thanks bud, much appreciated. Yes we have allot of electronics and gizmos now, we really don’t want to make mediocre content, only the best for our viewers! Which area are you from? Do you know of any interesting cafes or biker locations to visit around you? We add them all to our map and visit when in the area 👍

@@ontheroadadventure I live in the southeast of Norway and this is the most boring area of Norway, We don`t have biker cafe`s in Norway, as far as i know. Sorry. If you visit Norway stay in the western and northern part of the country, the best view`s are there. Great riding to, very little traffic outside the cities.

The last time I saw that happen was a car with aftermarket wheels after it hit a curb at an angle, his were cheap Turkish copy's and the same happened. Lexmoto I think need to take a look as it is obvious the spokes are not strong enough to take an impact at an angle, too few spokes made of cheap die cast is not good enough just because it makes the wheels lighter does not mean it is safer.

Hi Jack, thanks so much for joining us, glad you are enjoying our videos 😀 We use the DJI Drone, but most of these things come down to editing. We probably spend just as much or more time editing footage as we do filming it!

@@jackruk Are you in the UK? You’ll want to do some research into laws, not only for the uk but countries you take it too. Some countries they are completely illegal. In the uk you will need a license for drones over 249g

Yeah i am in the uk. I will have a look into the laws and rules for sure i know its not as easy as it used to be. Which model of the Dji do you guys use?

We have the DJI M3 Pro. If you get one make sure you buy the Insurance for it too!

Chinesium…just below wax on the Mohs hardness scale. You wouldn’t fit aftermarket Chinese parts on your bike, so why own a bike that’s entirely made of the stuff 🤷‍♂️ (the car was a Beetle 🙄)

Well in fairness we use allot of Chinese stuff every day, theres probably Chinese parts in your iPhone or in our camera equipment.... that doesnt mean its all bad quality but these bikes are built to such a budget that its impossible to have quality parts..... Whats that saying - Cheap, Good and fast you can have any two but never all three....
