I split the route into into 2 riding days, and in this video I share my favorite highlights, route suggestions and tips on riding the passes for the final section from Bad Tölz to the Königssee (and beyond.)

Thank you! I highly recommend riding it, it's well worth it for the views on a clear day. It also has a couple of nice places to eat on the route and the toll very reasonable at 5,50 € for motorcycles.

A beautifully filmed and edited piece. I confess I am underwhelmed by the scenery when compared to the Pyrenees and the French, Italian and Swiss Alps. I no doubt will be hated for this comment but you really should travel in those areas. I would love to see what you could do in those locations. All the best and ride safe.

Thank you for the compliment and for watching! I understand your view, it's true the scenery isn't as consistently dramatic as in neighboring Switzerland, Austria or the Dolomites. This route just has it's own unique combination of beauty, culture and great roads that is unlike anywhere else, and is quite a bit less known and covered in the motorcycle community. Stay tuned to the channel though, I've still got mountains of footage from last season to edit, including some of the more dramatic scenery you're requesting. See you on the road. 👍
