I watch subtitles of all my youtube subscriptions 50% of the time; sometimes I need quiet, sometimes it's those whose voices tend to talk over each other so I turn the volume off, sometimes it's an important topic that needs concentration because I don't want to miss a word, and sometimes wind-beaten microphone noise needs muting. I am pretty sure I have not used closed captioning while watching you two, we Americans love your accent and the sounds around you are so pleasant. Love you guys!

‘What ever happened to good old trains ‘, I agree , used a lot in my time , stations was heaving when I was young, could sleep in them , special cabins.. epic video content, it’s both of you to that make it so enjoyable to watch as well , please stay safe .☀️🥰

1st subtitled comment haha - I do actually use the subtitles quite a lot, I’m not deaf or hard of hearing but sometimes I watch/listen in the same room my husband is watching tv so it helps “catch” your conversation to read it as well x

Hello,Mazzy and Dan. Don’t worry about your accent. On the contrary, it is very refreshing to hear different accents in a time when uniformity is the rule. It is also your identity and it is priceless. I don’t use the subtitles when I watch your videos , I didn’t even know I could ! I have no problem understanding you and I am French !

Hi Dan and Mazzy, I don't use subtitles because I have been talking to a British friend for 16 yrs. on the phone. In fact I think some is so cute like when he says "Me book" instead of my book. And Zebra cracks me up. Love it. Hugs from Rosie USA P.S. He was one gave me the name Rosie Posie. So nice having all the videos again.

That beautiful pub you passed on the A1 at 13:00 minutes, if you had turned left there it is the road to the Cause Way for Holy Island Mazzy and just along that road is a lovely Caravan/Motorhome/camping site called The Barn at Beal, when you're pitched you can look over the water to Holy Island at night with all the lights on. Very tranquil.

Hi Dan we alway's use the tiedown's on our awning keep's it more stable and we use a small skirt for the draft comeing from under the van we use suction cup's to attach it to the van and peg the bottom work's a treat👍👍

Years ago we were away in our caravan with a full awning on a site with a big lake, I got up in the morning and opened the caravan door to find the awning absolutely wall to wall full of ducks, they must have been in there all night !

We never watch your videos with subtitles but there are a few peoples videos we do. In fact, 90% of the videos we watch are British people and we are so used to it we don’t even notice your accents! Now, we are from the Ozarks area of Missouri so you might need subtitles to understand US😂😂❤️

I work in Asda & recognised that radio right away lol. The string holds the beef together as its rolled, my son told me ( he is a butcher ) .Your certainly getting your money's worth out of your bbq.

I’ve tried subtitles with some KZfaq channels purely if later at night and don’t want volume up too loud but safe to say never for yourselves...I may be Scottish, but understand you perfectly well. Also have family from York, so well versed in the vernacular. If you do want a laugh though, you need to check out KZfaq’s subtitles...some of them are so misinterpreted. 😂

I've a feeling in Berwick upon Tweed, the river Tweed itself is the Scotland/England border. The subtitles I see in the little preview screen are usually miles off what you're actually saying, so perhaps its watched with them for additional entertainment?! Enjoying seeing Northumberland, don't know about that area at all really.

If your coming Jedburgh way tomorrow? There’s a car wash just outside the town to the north on the a68 that washes motor homes. We were over at the beach looking out for you but no luck. Watch out for the big pot holes when you get over the border.

I was at Holy Island Saturday but couldn't cross until just after 4. Bellingham waterfall is interesting but imho a difficult walk.

I am from Poland but can understand your English well without subtitles. Sometimes I put them on with American videos or if the accent is too strong.

I watch all videos/tv/movies with subtitles as I have hearing impairment. I can understand you fine with the volume up though. Around 1 in 6 people have some degree of hearing loss so it’s probably more common than you think :)

We’re at Bellingham this week for a few nights. We have two black labs who love to run, as we live in the country they have loads of freedom. I’m thinking they’re gonna be a tad bored with that dog run - maybe it will be just hop skip and jump for them. Ah well, we can’t change now 🤷🏻‍♂️

Mazzy when you said Good morning campers you reminded me of Ruth Madoc from Hi De Hi (Gladys Pugh). Ha Ha your voice is not welsh but the way you were saying it ha ha. Those burgers mmm made me hungry. Well im of on North coast 500 next month did the Belach Na Ba in rain and mist few weeks ago but cant see nowt. Ive not shared videos yet building up a few first. You certainly getting weather Tuesday in Scotland Travel Ban Lifted thank goodness.

Years ago we where sitting in the dining room eating when we herd Owl my wife said sounds very close so we investigated and low and behold the noise was coming from the blocked up fire place in the front room. We slowly removed the the fireplace screen to find a fully grown Owl looking at us managed to throw a large towel over him and let him go outside . We soon had a cowlings installed on the chimney pot.

I never bother watching with subtitles. Can't believe that Deep Digger Dan book only sold about nine copies. I'm one if them, bought it when it first came out, good book too. Its always available on ebay and amazon i recommend it. :-)

Hi Dan, I was just about to go into great depth about how we had stayed at the Berwick site back in 2018 whilst enroute to Scotland and about the great little shop in town that sold home made chocolate and their own gorgeous Hot Chocolate but then realised I never Comment on your vids so I couldn't tell you this information 🤔

If I watch videos with subtitles I find it annoying because I miss some of the action. Even if I have the sound on I still find myself reading the sub titles, so I always turn them off. Good job cleaning the van Dan! Did Mazzy leave you any beers for when you finished?

Hello I don’t have much time to comment I care for hubby and been. Busy with builder. At our home. We have a massive are built out our back garden area to accommodate out 8 meter motorhome has the storage place we stored it in. Was gravelly and husband’s wheelchair wouldn’t go over it.
