Once again Filip, thank you. Are you French and if so where is it you live? I know France fairly well and have travelled extensively in the country. Cheers Michael

@@michaelchartres Most welcome ! France is a beautiful country - sad there are french living. They are the masters of complicating simple things. I think they don't have brains but a 'labyrinth' instead ! I'm Flemish by origins.

I think this was your best drive yet Michael. My heart is pounding from some of the tight corners and narrow roads. Almost all of the roads you drove on this leg of your trip would be one way streets here and still we would be smashing cars into things and each other. The countryside and views were stunning even without the clear skies. I recently saw a video or news item of a truck carrying a wind turbine blade and the silly driver tried to make a 90° turn onto a railway crossing. He wasn't halfway over when the train struck. More forever in the landfill junk. I am looking forward to seeing Barmouth and I thank Jeremy for sending you there but I must caution you. If you continue to torture me with the mention of Fish and Chips, I shall have to stop watching your channel. lol. I am so pleased that you are getting out and about. It is still unsafe for us to do so although Carole and I had our first little foray since June of 2019 just a couple of weeks ago, it was lovely to get out. Take care. Regards, David.

Hello David, fancy Fish & Chips for lunch???? Oh. Sorry! Forgot. Thanks for your comment. I remember what you said about the roads when you were in my little blue car. By the way, the little blue car is probably being driven around by an angel. It is no more. Died, deceased. Too many things going wrong and too much cost to put it all right. I enjoyed her immensely and she actually cost me nothing. Continue to take care and regards to you Both. Michael

Hi Michael.. That was a beautiful route you took to Barmouth. We went there in 1984...so I'm looking forward to seeing it again. Gorgeous shots of the bridge as you approached and all made better by a packet of cheesy whatsits.. Perfect.. 🍷🍷

Thanks Steve. In the video after Barmouth you get a mention.. I have to admit to loving Cheesy Whatsits. They passed the time well as we were queued for quite a long time waiting for the GREEN MACHINE (or part of it). Regards Michael

Hello Richard. Firstly thanks for watching. So you have a Nephew in Perton. I used to live in Pattingham just down the road from Perton and still own a couple of properties in Perton. One in Melrose Drive and one in Ennerdale Drive. He probably knows those two roads. Regards Michael. P.S. Do you have a"SMELL" app on your phone????

Pen y fan I remember it well walked / ran it a few time with the Army chaps (sometimes in cloud) and paraglided over it several times. I love the idea of follow me bike. I will have a whiskey Mac please.

You are obviously very fit running up and down Pen-y-Fan. I told the chap on the bike he should have a "Follow Me" sign on his back just like a large airport and sorry, only have vodka on board today☹. Regards Michael

@@michaelchartres I was fairly fit back then, we did it with 40kg on our backs and a rifle.

Maybe the chap @2:48 was on an e-bike (hard to tell). They seem to be getting more and more popular these days. Anyway, really enjoyed that ride with you Michael, just right with the forward facing camera, your voice-over and nothing else but that lovely scenery. Like David 's comment, I drew quite a few sharp breath intakes on some of those bends. Hopefully the camera made the gaps look tighter than they were :).

Thanks for the comment Joe. I think even an E-Bike, certainly mine, would struggle on those hills. As for the gaps, yes the camera made them look narrow but in reality they were VERY narrow anyway. All good fun. Regards Michael

Greetings from Boston Massachusetts USA. As again a great video oh, really like your style. Would like to know a little info on Gwendolyn and your wife's motorhome, year make and model. Also a question on driving the squiggly lines on the road. Are they assigned slow down. Really like your videos in your again thanks. Big John again thanks for the answer the last time around.

Good Morning and thank you for your kind words. I shall do a short video on Gwendolyn and my wife's Rosalee with all the info when she returns from Scotland. As for the "squiggly lines" I'm not sure if you are referring to the "hatching" in the center of the road or the "zig-zag" at the side near pedestrian crossings. The hatching in the center is simply for separation and the zig-zag at crossings me NO PARKING !!! Not even the disabled. It is so as to not obscure the crossing. Regards to Boston from Wales (UK).
