Good job there. I didn't realise those vents were so easy to remove. Our Rapido vents are wind-up but I think the hinges are pinned like the ones you've shown. Our vents are a little crazed (like older headlights); have you ay experience with those headlight restoration kits? I thought those kits might help our vents. Thanks.

Worth a try, I have seen some being used with good results, not sure on the best brands to use, let me know how it goes. 👍🏼🚍🏨🌴

Hi Jof. Thanks for such great MoHo content and particularly the 'how to' videos. Especially helpful as I also have a 690G! Question regarding this one. I noticed your Hekis with and without rubber seals. Is this normal? Ive just ordered some replacement rubbers but having seen your vid makes me wonder if I need them. Are 2 of mine missing or just never fitted in the first place? Many thanks, David

Hi David, just had to take a another look to try and establish what seals you are referring to, if you think you have seals missing definitely try to replace asap a lot of times with manufactures there are bits missing.

Thanks Jof. If you look up into the roof light, there's a black, square sectioned rubber inset around the perimeter of the clear perspex. From what j could see ( but I could be wrong! 😮) the cover of the rooflight you took out had a rubber fitted, but the others did not! I hope this makes. Nb , I'm probably going to fit them anyway!
