just bought it. I want to switch it up, and get rid of my tiktok addiction and I don't want to depend so much on my smartphone anymore, it's a great phone.

My dad had this in blue and my mom had it in pink. Dad even had a wireless earpiece/microphone and a phone holder belt to take calls back in the day. I thought that earpiece was the coolest thing ever as a kid. And that latin style ringtone is still burned into my memory to this day.

I remember when I was a kid my parents got me one and I have very big nostalgia towards it. That's why I decided for my first folding phone to be Motorola and just got RAZR 40 Ultra (RAZR+). Absolutely astonishing, and nostalgic feeling is refreshed with modern technology.

I’ve been trying to get mine set up with a sim but I’ve been told I can’t due to an outdated bandwidth?? Is there a way I can set it up in the US?

This phone only supports GSM bands. You’d need to find a carrier that still runs their GSM networks (it used to be T-Mobile and AT&T in the US if I remember correctly). In some countries, these have been shut down already.

You can’t. You’ve got to have a SIM card in even if it doesn’t get registered in the network anymore.

It is. But within its 5 MB of storage, you won’t put too much of it. A couple of ringtones, perhaps.

Is this metal body or plastic?

Most of the body is made of anodised aluminium. The bottom half of the rear side is plastic; that’s where the antenna is.

Hi Mike, I bought a gold razr v3i listed as new. It turns on after chargingand inserting sim, both screens are working and keypad lights up but I can't get the keypad to work. None of the buttons except the power on button is working. Also side panel volume buttons aren't responding. Is there some kind of lock in keypad or what. Please help me out I watch all your unboxings . How can I get the keypad to work ? The seller isn't taking returns. Help

I hate to say it, but to me it looks like you’ve been scammed. Phones like these don’t sell new and unused; they practically don’t exist. They’re refurbished at best, often assembled from parts that are worse than the original. That’s why you only have to buy these things at reputable sellers - which are those that have high ratings and provide some warranty. If the seller doesn’t accept returns, it’s most likely because they know what they are in fact selling. The keypad hasn’t got a factory lock; it simply doesn’t work as it should. I’m sorry; you’re going to have to be careful next time.
