This was wayy back when i was first learning, it was stock doing 20mph. Perfect to learn on cause it wont chase to 40mph where bad things can happen 😆

Im assuming you have a vevor kit? Those cheaper controllers are very hard to wheelie cause the throttle is like an on off switch. I do have a how to wheelie a pitbike video with a bunch of good tips if you wanna check it out. Its down deep with the firsts of my videos but i think it could help a ton

Yeah disconnect the brake switch that goes to the controller

You must mean the brakes motor cutoff switch. Its very easy if you open the side cover and find the controller wires theres 3 2-pin connectors with orange and purple wires 2 of them are for the brake levers and one is for the little red button on the throttle you can disconnect the 2 for the brakes so your motor wont cut off when your modulating the brakes in a wheelie! Also you could just unscrew the wires from the brake lever and just tuck them into the frame. Be careful because there is a set screw holding the little metal piece the wires go through. If you just try to unscrew thar piece without unscrewing the set screw it will destroy the threads

They are most likely shoving the charger in wrong. It only goes in one way and I've seen too many posts of people blowing their chargers.

It most certainly will! Youll just have to install a brushless controller amd thr components you need like throttle, ignition switch all that stuff from the 48v bike aswell. Or go with a fardriver and wire that up! I got some how tos here to walk you through that to make a beast of a bike with the 48v motor!

@epowermaintenance5333 the 72300 s12 would be perfect, ive run mine at 70 line amps and 250 phase no problem! And if your running 72v you should get close to 50mph easy with a good tune! I also have a tune to copy in one of my videos aswell!

Nah ask away! Unfortunately the ec4p is too wide to fit inbetween the swing arm and uses different mounting points. A few others have made drop down brackets to run that motor underneath the swing arm though! You just need a #25 or #35 sprocket for the rear made to match whatever sprocket your using on the ec4p.

Off the line kinda, it's box stock in this video and it was enough for me to learn wheelies pretty safely. Fun to rip the yard up on but you'll get bored of it really quick if your trying to offroad it. Then you'll want a controller and 72v battery to really wake up the stock motor! But learning wheelies made riding it stock a ton of fun.

Eventually yeah, I did a controller upgrade and added a 72v battery. Ypu can go through amorge and get yourself a higher capacity 48v for more range!

Haha yeah it came in pretty rough shape scratches everywhere, the side cover was broken, the battery almost bounced out, it was pretty sketch. I wasnt missing parts but i emailed mototec directly and they took care of me and replaced the damaged plastics. Also one of the bolts on the bottom triple clamp was stripped and they replaced that also. But so far its holding up great, ive had to true up the spokes but thats all normal stuff, im still running the same chain and i have an upgraded controller and 72v battery in it from electro&co, it does about 45 now with a ton of torque. So its seeing alot more abuse and power than a stock bike and ive had zero issues other than the shipping damage 🤙

Yes, I'm not sure if mototec is still selling them with cable brakes. But I got mine before they switched. I believe venom motorsports sells theirs with hydro brakes. Or if you already have them you can get some zoom brakes or similar just make sure they are left rear, right front!

@Juss333 it is absolutely not comfortable 😆 a seat change is recommended, but that doesnt stop how fun it is! Its similar seat height to a 110 but a shorter wheels base and probably 60-70 pounds lighter.

Yeah if you wanna get something to ride straight out of the box the mototec is great! And with a simple fardriver controller upgrade youll be doing around 40 mph with stock battery and motor. How to vids on my channel of course! But if you want a beast of a bike and wanna build it immediately to 72v and do 50+ mph i recommend the bombmoto b1 chassis and battery with a fardriver or vesc controller kit!

Stock with me being 185 it did 20mph. 80 pound kid easily 25mph. With $500 electro&co kit and stock 48v battery 35-40mph, kit with 72v 50mph. Mine is heavily modified now with a qs165 and hits 64mph 🤙

I dont remember, i just mess around and do wheelies so i never pay attention to range. I could wheelie for hours though. And it only does like 20 put the box so maybe 15 miles?
