These two videos are amazing thank you. Such a wonderful idea to make the first part out of plaster. It carves so nicely when fresh and wet. Some difficult shapes I have trouble making in clay that lend themselves to slip casting, and become possible with this wonderful carving technique of yours. I really like your shaping booth in the previous video utilising that stabilisation bar wedged into the sides. Inspirational and inventive.

Ancien Directeur technique de Fonderie en retraite,j'ai admiré votre travail avec passion.Chez nous ,nous appelons cela le moulage coquille,au lieu que ça soit du plâtre il est en fonte.On coule du bronze,du laiton,aluminium et le moule peut faire des milliers de pièces,certaines pièces automobiles du moteur sont faites comme vous l'avez démontré sur votre vidéo "félicitation" blog l'expert en étain.

Yes I used coconut oil soap, it works very well. 500g coconut oil and 90g Koh. Mix for 3 minutes, wait for soaping, dilute 50:50 water and use.

@@antictractors5609 Si votre relief est en dépouille aucun problème.Le seul inconvénient sera que les motifs du relief useront plus vite que si ce serait un mug uni.Donc à prévoir plus de moules pour la production.

@@antictractors5609 Le plâtre utilisé au Québec pour le moulage est le pottery plaster qui vient de u.s.gypsum.Chez-vous ,il faudra vous informer sur le type de plâtre vendu car il y en a plusieurs sortes et pourle savon la même chose.Il se vend des savons spécials dans des magasins de produit de céramique.
