Great little history trips you take us on. How surreal it would be to see a wave of water raging through such usually dry country. Definitely something you wouldn't expect . Poor buggers. 🙏

Thank you for sharing. My grandfather was born and raised in Mount Morgan in 1913. During the war, one of his stops was Melbourne. He met my grandmother there and married her. So here we are. I flew up there from Melbourne in 2020 and spent 3 nights there as I wanted to learn about the town he was from. I feel so connected to Mount Morgan now and feel blessed to have gone there.

enjoyed the video. My grandparents home at Wura was washed away in the 1928 flood and the family evacuated to the school. The graves of my great grandmother and her son who died in the early 1900s are on the land there.
