3:56 remember surveying that pool for Uni back in 1991.. nothing alive at all due to concentration of copper leeching from the tailings

@@goldcoastdronevision I can imagine mate, that's a hot part of the state for sure. Wonder If I can get in contact with anyone about getting in there to do some lower flying, most places are freaked out with public liability stuff. I might do some inquiring

No such thing as a metric ton. One thousand kilograms is a tonne!

The metric ton or tonne is a unit of mass, and it is defined as 1,000 kilograms. This is not to be confused with a short ton, which is an imperial measurement of weight, equal to 2,000 pounds, or the rarely used long ton which is 2240 pounds.
