I know that I could talk about so many more carbs you should have in your diet but this is my top 7. Now let me start off by saying if you are allergic to any of them please don't put them in your diet. But if you can eat them you should try to get them all in your diet some way.
1. Sweet Potatoes
2. Oatmeal
3. Lentils
4. White Rice
5. Cream of Rice
6. Sourdough Bread
7. Tortilla

John Meadows is an American professional bodybuilder and entrepreneur with an intriguing story. While John now boasts a successful career as an IFBB Pro bodybuilder and fitness company owner, his journey towards the top was extremely difficult.
Growing up, John never met his father, and his mother died at an extremely young age. This meant John only had his grandmother to take care of him. When his grandmother tragically passed away in 1999, John was left alone without his family to support him.
As the years went by, John continued to face new adversities in his life. During his early days in bodybuilding, John suffered from a rare colon disease. After fighting the disease for several months, his colon burst - almost resulting in his death. Luckily, John was quickly rushed to an emergency room where his life was saved. After several months of recovery, John was finally back on his feet.
Coming back into bodybuilding, John used the very obstacles that almost cost him his life as ‘fuel’ to grow stronger. Ever since he recovered from the colon surgery, John has gone on to become a successful bodybuilder, entrepreneur, and inspiration for many people all over the world.

Yeah I'm 52 I'm just bummed beyond belief that he died. It was so nice to have somebody that was near my age that understood everything that my age goes through. All these younger kids just living a echo chamber with and scream with the other kids scream and they've done absolutely no research. So I'm going to pick up some of John's workouts and watch all his videos overtime and continue to support the family hopefully AdSense keeps paying them

In an industry filled with liars, cheaters and thieves, there are still righteous individuals who maintain a high level of ethics and morals. You’re a great role model for your kids John. The bodybuilding community are so grateful for all of the knowledge you continue to share. You’re a genuine, honest bloke 👍🏼 Thanks for introducing me to the cream of rice/almond butter/ protein powder concoction bowl! Would you consider doing a video on immunity - what nutrition and supplement tips would you recommend? Gyms are a breeding ground for bacteria and I seem to get sick with colds/flu’s quite a bit. It would be great to see a training video with Antoine Vaillant, Dave Tate, Scott Stevenson or Jordan Peters too. Thanks in advance!

Before my rookie season I cut gluten out of my diet for the better part of a year, every time I came back to it I’d feel like crap, much worse than I ever remember feeling prior to taking it out of my diet. Nine years later it still gives me trouble but I can eat most sourdough with virtually none of the issues I get from regular bread.

I like cornmeal. As a porridge, it has basically the same traits you mentioned about white rice. It’s carb-dense and easy to digest, plus it’s neutral enough in flavor that it goes with pretty much anything. You can also make it into bread, which makes it more portable and provides some textural contrast if you’ve been eating a lot of beans and legumes.

Jasmine rice is also my favorite! If my carbs are pretty low due to contest prep I find myself trying to get the fiber in but not too many carbs-I love blackberries! You may mention those but I’m only to the rice part! Love your content!!

That was a blessing to see your son Alexander perform his yoyo moves. He's got some major skills. I have eight grandchildren. I don't know if half of them could put they're phone down long enough to develop that kind of skill. Your part of the video was good too. Haha! Thanks for sharing.

Nice yo yo trick! Thanks John for all your great videos! I’ll incorporate the rest of these into my diet...oats, cream of wheat and potatoes are the main carb source right now
