It's pretty ridiculous that Manchukuo doesn't start with trains researched considering that it had one of the most important railway lines in China which became one of the objects of rivalry between Japan and Russia in the area, with many Russian and Polish engineers working on it.

Paradox interactive and actual historical research are mutually exclusive. Yemen, Oman, Bhutan, and Nepal are totally independent in 1936 in hoi4. In the real world this is completely nonsensical and only happened after decolonization.

Tbh this is my favorite way of forming Qing. It takes only few attempts at ironman non-historical to have Japan go commie. They usually take the related focuses very fast.
