Can you do this with an already painted painting, like just remove it from the frame and put it on a slightly smaller frame ?

This was some sloppy work. Take your time and do the corners correctly. And the trim job she did in at the end looks terrible.

The corners seemed fine. And she covers the trim with tape so...I don't see what the big deal is.
