I made my own today only using vegan replacements and adding some garlic and bell pepper to the 'meat'. I didn't use wine or an egg for the bechamel sauce, but it turned out perfectly. Good grief, that's good food. The Greeks sure knew what they were doing.💖

Hi Stavros, I recently made your moussaka and I must say it was fabulous. I have recently been on holiday in Cyprus and I can honestly say yours was better than I had in some good restaurants. Can you please clarify for me in the recipe you say 4 glasses of milk for the bechamel sauce but I was unsure what size glasses to use, if you could please help me with this I would be most grateful as I am planning to make this delicious moussaka again this weekend.
