Exactly I'm sick of either people going backwards or constantly asking for the ball when they're surrounded and then not passing it when a teammate is free

I noticed using the walls is still beneficial for dodging attackers, also if you pump the corners of the ridge when you come down, it helps maintain speed since your going around a sharp corner, also dodging directly on the corner wall is good for sharp turns, nobody really tries to stop it because they’ll usually just hit the corner and slow down. I don’t really have a method to it, it’s kind of just like holding the left stick down, slightly to the direction your going in, and pressing dodge from the outside corner until you wrap around. ( for controller users)

for the sides i usually hold the grab and try and get high you get a nice speedboost i went from 54 to 72 and also you can grab your teamates for a better boost

This is on the to-do list as well, defending is generally harder in this game, they might balance it out in the future

If you jump at the right time on the sides you can do the same thing just not as high. It works with the ball too. It take some getting used to when you reach the corners though

i found that boosting in at the edges makes it easier to start getting momentum, i got to 103 speed on my 2nd try

on the side i do a uppercut then a jump or if i have the ball instead I do a Dodge then a jump is really works on the middle wall really well but the outer wall know as the goal walls can be a bit difficult but it works as well

dodging, if you dodge at the perfect time when going into the side wall it will stick you to that surface for a second and will help you have smoother momentum

I found that if you jump early enough you can skip the side lumps by going to the other wall

I mention that in tackling video, you can use you brakes to make quick turns as you come down, you can dodge, or jump to avoid those tackles

For the sides with the bumps, I tend to jump just as I'm about to go over the top of the bump and i'll usually land smoothly on the wall ready to uppercut.

If you go at a angle on the side you can keep your speed until around 120mph then you start to juno so go at a angle and it works fine

I like jumping behind the “hunters”tiptoeing behind them and dodging then jumping and pumping in a zigzag this prolly doesn’t work against experienced players but if ur playing quick match it breaks ankles (sometimes)

When going up walls with the ball I will dodge which makes me a little higher then I can pump down and repeat it can get me to like 120 speed

When I go on the sides I normally jump at a certain point and it allows me to keep a decent amount of momentum and slide down with ball or out

I think that's too early to decide, it's a new game so ranks will need adjusting anyway so we can't tell yet

When I'm on the side walls, I uppercut before I stand on the wall so that I land near the top before getting up the wall.

On the wall with the bumo u wanna jump off the wall half way down but still hold pump because u will land on the slanted side of the bump

If you win matches your rank goes up, some people are running into a bug that causes there rank to get stuck, you might be having that problem

It all depends on when you jump as you go up, just try to jump a bit earlier, if that doesn't work, jump a bit later

You have uppercut then push your stick towards the wall you can land on it, then you can spam just the uppercut or tackle as well

It could be a bug, their cross-platform system is broken at the moment but they are working to fix it

There's a lot more bugs on console than PC, they're working on patches so you might have to deal with it for a bit, you could try re-installing but no guarantee it'll work

I know there are a lot of problems with servers at the moment so that could be why, do you have crossplay turned on in the settings? It's turned off by default.

the game has been closed beta for few months and pre alpha for years so there has actually been few tournaments for it but the full release happened on the 25th may
