Sounds like you liked the better part of 20th Century seeing those Horror movies and Disney movies and cartoons in the theatre. I would have liked to have gotten all the horror movie merchandise myself. I have most the Disney Cartoons on VHS I saw them on the Disney TV show in the late 70's and early 80's when I was a kid don't care for the digital stuff. Like the old campy stuff it's just done better. I also have Abbot and Costello meet Frankenstein Bela was in that as well last time he wore the vampire costume.

Abbot & Costello movie had a blooper a lot of people still miss. When Dracula bites the female doctor at her vanity, you can see his reflection in her mirror.
@eronavbj
@eronavbj 9 ай бұрын
I have always thought that “blooper” was purposely left in. This was, after all, a comedy, and it just seemed too nonchalantly left as is. Of course, many Abbot & Costello fans would probably be unaware of vampire lore, so it would go unnoticed, whereas horror fans would spot the goof immediately-as we both did!

0:49 I always though Karloff looked really athletic here. May be the padding, big sole shoes etc. He moves fast though, his arms & hands look large too. Louis Francis Cristillo, better known as Lou Costello. Died: March 3, 1959... That's 4 days after I was born. 😔 I really respect/appreciate your efforts & your tastes in old TV & film.

The scene in "Frankenstein"(1931) in which the torch swung by the hunchback Fritz (Dwight Frye) glances across the back of the Frankenstein monster's head and causes Karloff's hair to smoke slightly, indicates just how lucky Karloff was in that scene at that moment because the brilliant makeup artist Jack P. Pierce had utilized collodion to create wrinkles on the monster's face which is very flammable! Karloff was damned lucky that his facial makeup didn't catch on fire and disfigure him!

9:50 Supposedly during that take behind the scenes after going down the stairs Bela hated that guy that was goofing around and found him distracting so much I think even at one Point Bela walked off set temporary. I saw that factiod on another video abit ago. It vibed like Bela wasnt messing around during working times.

ALSO - in House of Frankenstein, when Larry changes into the Wolf Man before Ilonka kills him, he has his shoes off. But his shoes are back on after the Wolf Man is dead and changed back to Larry Talbot. When the mortally wounded Ilonka crawls up beside Larry's lifeless body, you can see Larry's shoes are back on his feet.

Costello didn’t initially think much of the script of *A&CMF*: he said his then little daughter could have written a better script. Lugosi never got the wit and humor of A&C, nor that of any other actor in any other film when someone decided to prank him. His seriousness made him such a hijinks magnet. There’s a scene in *A&CMF* where Glen Strange throws the Dracula-possessed Lenore Aubert out of a castle window; you can see him afterwards stumble and break his ankle.

For those who didn't know or read the book, the "Monster" in Marry Shelly's Frankenstein has a name. Doctor Frankenstein named his creation after the first man. His name was Addam
@A-1BurmaShave
@A-1BurmaShave 9 ай бұрын
This is factually incorrect. You may be referring to another version of “Frankenstein” but in Mary Shelly’s novel the monster is just referred to as either “the monster” or “the creature.” If you can find the citation and page number I’ll delete this correction. Of course the MONSTER says his name should be Adam but he was never named that and Shelly never referred to him as Adam.

Another great video, Tvcrazyman!! I thought that I saw al the Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein bloopers there were, but you showed two here that I've never seen before. One that I was looking for here was when Dracula revived The Monster the first time, while The Monster was still in the crate. As Strange began to sit up, you can see the makeup start to separate just above and between his eye and the heavy monster brow. And one in Bride Of Frankenstein that I thought you'd have was when Karloff as the monster escaped early in the film and was getting a drink of water from the stream. The image shown should have been a mirror image, but was just a straight on shot with water effect, as though he was looking into the stream.

There's also a blooper in the early part of The Wolfman when the Bela Lugosi werewolf changes, he rips out of his clothes. After he gets killed and changes back to human the clothes are back on! Also, the Lugosi werewolf was shown in sillhouette as a large wolf, but the Lon Chaney werewolf is just a man with wolflike facial features and claws.

Plus also its highly glossed over of the Bride to be's Mental state etc in Frankenstein. Shes basically attacked by a sudden Zombie type monster and been so lied too or just not at all told about the Monster either by Her Dr Hubby To be. Technically The story just goes on , She would be ALL emotionally destroyed paranoid scared to literal Death Right? The story then still follows Dr Frankenstein , the monster and the Villagers only.

There is also a blooper from "A&C Meet Frankenstein"..where Lon Chaney,Jr's "Lawrence Talbot"/"The Wolf Man"says a cuss word..that..I'm sure…it wouldn't endear him to the priest of his local church.

I believe in this movie, Abbott and Costello's characters had different names, but in one scene, Lou goofs and calls out "Bud" by mistake forgetting that his partner was not named that. I'm surprised you didn't catch it.

Thanks, I knew it was in there somewhere. Finding it for the video was another matter. I remember hearing it, but just can't remember what scene.
