We can't escape the fall of Hollywood with its bad movies, poorly run studios and activist actors. But you know what we can do? We can talk smack about them. #movies #hollywood #actors

I just had to say THANK YOU! for NOT covering and or mentioning Rebel Moon! Unfortunately everyone else fell for Netflix's content farming operation ... we truly are living the the drakes timeline

In my best movie trailer voice- In a world where nobody likes anything because everything is crap, three unsung heroes avoid the garbage traps set by spiraling, brain dead studio execs, and forge their own path of mediocrity

I don’t know if it was intentional, but this was an exceptional fat joke.

Emma Watson took herself out. She stopped acting for a while. Then she did some independent films.

I liked her in Beauty and the beast and even though I think The Circle was underwhelming, still liked her in that too

1. I didn't see the first two movies, so I'll respectfully decline to offer improvement advice. 2. Christian Slater was a big star at the time, in my opinion, not a rising star that disappeared. I thought everything he was in was great - as a matter of fact, one of the songs from Bed of Roses still graces my "Current Obsessions" iPod playlist - but he was in the Tom Cruise race. Cruise became a much better actor than Slater over time, and Cruise obviously eclipsed all the other competitors in the race. Hopefully Slater will be able to make a strong comeback like Sean Connery did as he got older.

Tom Cruise became a big star before he became a better actor. Although there is no denying that he is both. While I didn't like so.e of the changes between the play and the movie, he was great in Rock of Ages almost poking fun at his own stardom.

I don't know much about Zac Erfon, so I will refrain from commenting. Emma Watson had the deck stacked against her. She is beautiful, but since we started watching her as a kid, it feels kind of icky to say (type) that. I am glad that she made indie films that had a better chance of showcasing her acting chops. Her politics does get the best of her, but really, that is most of Hollywood. Melissa McCarthy is very funny. I think Mike & Molly was a missed opportunity, but the original premise was quickly abandoned because it was unkind. Since then, she seems to be relegated to the fat sidekick roles or her husband's passion projects, which haven't allowed her any flexibility. When I watch her, part of me isn't sure if I should laugh at the material or her appearance, which is sad. Christian Slater was kind of the sidekick that made good. He got a few staring roles, but they were not well received. I liked Cuffs. His short role in Star Trek showed his respect for fans (he is one of us) but was overlooked. I think his movies are held to a monetary standard instead of an artistic one, and that torpedoed his chances. So I pick him. Sorry for the long rant, but I tried to answer everything.

I wonder if Booger knows Christine? 🤔
@MovieRelated17 күн бұрын
I'm gonna need some more context for this one, because no idea what that means.

@MovieRelated Some of the comments are from "Christine" incognito? There's a familiar style I detect... Hmm...

Talking about people who should have been more famous how about Michael Biehn and Lance Henriksen staples of 80's action/horror flicks only to just disappear into obscurity
@MovieRelated17 күн бұрын
Looks like Michael kind of veered into tv and video game voice acting. As for Henriksen, he was meant to be that character actor, just so good at it. Liked him in Rabbit Hole.

1= F, make it worth watching how about a good plot. 2, Never watched it but look at it this way a thin book can be stretched out as long as it makes money. 3, Emma has enough money from the Harry Potter franchise why not retire and enjoy it? Maybe the rest just never had the right movie and if the first did not pay off they did not want to risk a big budget on them.

Very few get satisfied with lots of money, they always want more. She is a rarity.
