I think Tariq will be in a good position by the end of the season because the set up of season 4 is very similar to season one in the sense that in the beginning Tariq was in a bad position and by the end he was in a fairly good one and in season one there was a long break after the mid season finale just like now

Ghost was forced to keep operating between two worlds. It was the people around him that wouldn't allow him to go legit. No one really knew that James San Patrick and Ghost were the same person. So actually could have went legit but Tommy and Tasha were the main ones that wouldn't allow it. So this is what Tariq hasn't learned. When in the game no one is ever safe.

For the story, I believe Tariq and Diana should have the baby. It gives Tariq more purpose and a storyline that has potential to continue the power series. I don’t see why they would build all that up to take Diana out and the baby. Yes, they did that to Tommy but Tommy didn’t even know Holly was pregnant, Tariq knows Diana is and I feel would have her back no matter what since she’s carrying his seed. It’ll be just lame if they disintegrate a potential storyline like that in my opinion.

I think Tariq is gonna get a huge drug shipment(similar to the one Ghost and Tommy got from Lobos in season 2 of original power) and then bows out. He’ll most likely kill the connect after receiving the shipment because he looks fed up with having to report to people.
