I agree. I can't see "Raising Kanan" going beyond season 5 or 6. OG Power went for 6 seasons and if you look across the landscape of some highly rated crime dramas over the past decade, they typically all went 5, 6 seasons i.e. "Empire" and "Snowfall." Plus if the Ghost and Tommy spinoff "Origins" begins in '96 and currently on "...Kanan" it left off in '93, we can make the assumption that when it returns it'll span the latter part of '93 through '94. I also think the Ghost and Tommy characters will be recast. I also like the idea of either of the actors portraying Ghost and Tommy narrating "Origins" narrating their scenes similar to how 50 Cent does for "Kanan."

I don't want them to rush raising kanan for orgins... but this is gonna be a great show!

A good storyline for Curtis and Gabe would be that the club they end up buying could be part of a debt agreement involving the primary antagonist of the show, the same enemy that’s beefing with Breeze and his crew who is and eventually will be Kanan, James, and Tommy

Personally I think they will give the Tommy and ghost show the same slow burn like they did with kanans progression, I mean we are into season 4 and he’s only just had his first confirmed kill. Storytelling is key here

I know it would be pretty long you could split it in parts but I haven’t seen anyone from the power fanbase really do that.

It would be interesting if Tariq shot James St. Patrick and James St Patrick have a flashback scene on how James St. Patrick met Tommy and got into the street game to start the Power Origin.

What Sacha Penn does differently than Courtney Kemp is he keeps the action flowing. The one thing I always hated about OG Power was too much Ghost & Angela,I think we will see her but it wont harp on it like the original did. There are love interest on RK but it never over powers the story being told.

They shouldnt have to recast a young Ghost and Tommy because the two that played them in Power S6.E15 are now in their 20s. They are the same age, roughly, as Mekai Curtis, who plays Young Kanan. I guess the question is if they can carry a show with their acting skills.

This also proves that showrunners are listening to the fans and audience just like how game developers are doing… IT ONLY MAKES THE PRODUCT BETTER AND RHEY LEARN AS MUCH AS WE DO

I have always agreed with you when you said Breeze really wouldn't fit into Raising Kanan because it's centered around Kanan and his family. If they bring in Breeze, Ghost and Tommy, everyone would forget about the Thomas fan. Young Ghost and Tommy deserve their own story aside from Raising Kanan

Personally, I would like to see their come up prior to meeting kanan. That way we get to see wat made them decide to get in the game.

Origins has to begin when Raising Kanan concludes. There can be some crossover but it really only needs to be Kanan and Jukebox. They do need to tie up the story line for everyone else on RK. Origins will probably be about a 3-5 season show taking us to the season 1 of Power. Also, don't be surprised if Force gets canceled. It really is an outlier to the other Power shows.

I feel like the biggest challenge for origins will be what are the stakes because the reason why Courtney kemp didn’t want to do this spin off is because there would be no stakes because we already know what’s gonna happen the thing about raising kanan is that we didn’t much about raq and her brothers going into it so it was easier to speculate but that’s not the case with ghost and Tommy because we know they make out of the show, we know they never have any real problems with law enforcement because they know who ghost was until he was grown, we know they win every beef they get into and we know that their business most likely won’t get that big and won’t make any efforts to expand beyond queens because they don’t become really successful until kanan goes to prison that tells me that they’re gonna move away from some of what said in the original power like they do in raising kanan because as good as it is it has a lot of plot holes I could also see it being kinda like raising kanan in the sense that it will marketed as ghosts and Tommy’s show when it’s really kanan and or breezes show because there’s more to speculate about them or at least breeze than ghost and Tommy just like raising kanan was marketed as kanans show when it’s really raqs
