The Book hits even harder. In the end , she had a chance to turn it around and shut the system off - but she ratted Ty out and didn't do it. Annie falls into a coma and that brings Mae a new idea: that we should be able to see each others dreams. And that is the end of the book.

The problem with our society is over sharing and saturation of information. Our minds a clogged with useless information about other people’s lives. We should focus on our own. Not everything deserves a share

For everyone who saw the movie and thought it sucked or fell flat, PLEASE read the book or get the audio book. The story is VERY different from the movie, much more compelling, definitely darker, and the ending is different too. They softened the movie to make Mae come off as the hero not sure why. I definitely think Emma could have played the darker character that Mae actually was, but I guess the directors / producers didn't want to risk it.

If only more people understood how much of a digital impact they leave in the world where your data is collected at increasing and evolving ways! If people would take a moment to understand how the internet, apps etc works! But with the Web 3.0 making another game change it’s truly a good time to be a 80s baby 90s kid 00 teen all while expanding on the knowledge that both intrigues and grows one with the access to such abundance of information! I truly feel sorry for all those who ever took a naughty photo with beliefs that it will remain private, or not bite them in their future when it truly could alter there life shifting the course to a deviated path and making everything that one worked hard for all to have been a waste of time and possibly meaningless

There is no need for debate in this subject. Privacy is necessary because it's the only time you can be yourself without any judgements. Plus without privacy then there will be no such thing as Integrity. Having Integrity is who you are when no one is watching. If you are a good person when no one is watching and still do the right thing when no one is watching them you are truly good. Being watched all of the time will never make a person good. It just forces them to hide the bad more or bury it deeper within. People don't need to know everything. Just live your own life and be courteous to others. That's it.
