CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Cady (Lindsay Lohan) admits to writing the burn book" and makes amends with Regina (Rachel McAdams) and Miss Norbury ("Tina Fey).
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Tina Fey from Saturday Night Live wrote and appears in this comedy about the alternately funny and terrifying pecking order among teenage girls. Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) is a 15-year-old girl who has spent most of her life in Africa, where she was home-schooled by her zoologist parents. When her family relocates to the United States, Cady finds herself attending a high school in suburban Illinois, where she gets a crash course in the various sub-strata of the student body: the jocks, the cheerleaders, the stoners, the "cool" kids, and so on. Much to her surprise, Cady finds herself embraced by a clique of rich and popular girls known to outsiders as "the Plastics," led by Regina George (Rachel McAdams), Gretchen Weiners (Lacey Chabert), and Karen Smith (Amanda Seyfried). While Cady is grateful for her new friends, it doesn't take long for her to realize how manipulative they can be, and she soon discovers she's violated an unwritten law when she goes out on a date with Aaron (Jonathan Bennett), who is charming, good looking...and Regina's former boyfriend. It isn't long before Regina and her pals are on the warpath, and Cady must face a level of vengeful behavior for which years in the jungle never prepared her. Joining Tina Fey in the supporting cast are fellow SNL players Amy Poehler, Ana Gasteyer, and Tim Meadows. The screenplay for Mean Girls was based in part on Queen Bees and Wannabes: Helping Your Daughter Survive Cliques, Gossip, Boyfriends and Other Realities of Adolescence, a book by professional youth counselor Rosalind Wiseman.

...or MAYBE the things they wrote were actually true (at least partially). Just because you say mean things about someone doesn't mean they're not real. The book wasn't supposed to become public, it was just a fun pass time. The fact is, those girls were good looking and popular, and the people they wrote mean things about, weren't. So I'd say they didn't need to feel better about themselves, because they WERE considered superior by other students.

Clarisse Alexandra Being popular isn’t the same thing as being secure. As evidenced by how much they critique each other and their own bodies. People respected them because they were afraid of them. People who attack other people for “fun” whether the things they say are true or not, are people who live in a headspace of comparing themselves to others. Which is where insecurity comes from. And it’s a bad look anyway.

The line between 'personality' and 'personality disorder' is so thin you'd need to get an electron microscope to see it. They aren't real distinct things in the way, say, Schizophrenia is, they're literally just personality characteristics that our culture deems maladaptive and *become* a disorder worth diagnosing when they actually cause a person significant enough problems to require treatment. All this armchair diagnosis of political figures and characters in movies is absolutely pointless and actively bad for everyone.

There was a deleted scene where Cady brought flowers to Regina's house and so basically Regina's mother was talking to the crowd about Regina's accident. She was talking about how Regina had lost a lot of lood and alot of weight due to the incident. She then said that the doctors had prescribed her with a box of bars that help you to gain weight, the exaft same bars that Cady had used, from Africa, to help ruin Regina and make her gain weight causing her to lose her perfect body, be ridiucled by her friends that she'd had for years all because she was wearing sweat pants becuase those were the only things that fit her. After Regina hears this she screams at the top of her lungs causing the crowd to all run from the the house, thus swarming Cady, who was about to ring the door bell. Cady then thinks that it not the right time, throws the flowers into the house, and runs away with the rest of the crowd.

I don't know why people showed up to Regina's house. By thing point most everyone either hated her or were no longer afraid of her right? It just doesn't feel logical or even satisfying for all these people to support her after she got hit by the bus. Regina was cruel and deserved no pity. It might have made for a more intimate scene Cady visted her all alone because now they were both mean girls who had come to terms with the fact that they both ruined their own lives. It could have been a been a scene where they both realized how terrible they were to each other and they both needed to grow up. And they could have reached this epiphany together because now they were both alone.
