Christian (Jamie Dornan) visits the hardware store where Anastasia (Dakota Johnson) works to pick up some intriguing supplies.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Director Sam Taylor-Johnson's big screen version of the initial book in the series, Fifty Shades of Grey, stars Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele, an English Lit major on the verge of graduation when her best friend, a journalism major, gets sick and asks Anastasia to do an assignment for her -- interview Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan), the wealthy businessman who is speaking at their impending graduation ceremony. I can't understand why people hate on this movie. Yes, the book is trash. But the Story is so popular because it is about a man who transformed a scared, insecure little girl into a powerfull and strong woman. It is about how She changed him, in the end, from the cold abusive monster that he was to a loving and healed man. So they exercised control and power into one another. They turned each other into ther Best selfs, isnt it what True Love & Relationship should be like ?

That's basically what she did in the book,the movies make her look like a deer in the headlights. The book makes it seem like she is attracted to him but intimidated by him, and gets confused with his mood swings. It's only when they open up more, she is more comfortable, but until the second, not fully comfortable.

@@RachelTheVlogger Yes, I read that too. STJ and her scriptwriter kept the dialogue light and focused on only a few key scenes central to the love story of Christian and Anastasia. Darker and Freed are entirely plot-driven with silly car-chases and blah, blah, blah, those two movies sort of blend together for me as they are both bland. The makeup scene in Darker was so intense in the book, yet it’s glossed over in the movie’s opening credits. Such a disappointment. EL James’s husband was the screenwriter and his lack of experience shows.
