To be specific, the supply is no longer tainted. The problem now is that many homes pipes are contaminated due to the poisoned supply in the past. Some have been lucky enough to get money to fix their pipes, but most haven't.

The water source was changed, and the slightly different pH of the new water source dissolved away all the calcium buildup on the lead pipes and leached the lead directly into the tap water. Now, the water source has been switched back, but it's too late. With all the previously-protecting corrosion gone, lead still leaches directly into the drinking water. They pretend the problem doesn't exist anymore by using water from the 10% of pipes that have been replaced to "prove" that there is no more lead, when the majority of the population still has lead water. Oh, and our great Republican government (lead by Rick Snyder) knew this was going to happen, did it anyway, then covered it up for 2 years. And not a single one received any jail time.

Well unfortunately their so many true stories in America of working class towns having their water poisoned by big corporations and big government look at Michigan still chemicals being found in tap water in a lot of towns.

I was thinking the same.

It has the same feel because it's called CORRUPTION. It's all the same. Corporations have taken over our governments, media, everything. We are nothing but rats to them standing in the way of their profits. This story happens every day in the US it's a shame Hollywood only focuses on one or two stories. This is rampant. Corporations will destroy this world for profit. We all have to stop this once and for all.
