Yes. And it’s understandable why the kids got angry with him, because children love and trust their parents and at that point in the film, they developed a genuine relationship and “The more you can love someone, the more you can hate them.” Plus, when the dad came and saw things got awkward, he apologised and the children forgave him and they got back on good terms. Good film. I think I would like to watch this sometime.

I grew up somewhat spoiled in east Africa as a child; we were part of high socioeconomic class. Had 2 maids, never cleaned a thing, was a major bully in school. Came to Canada before my preteen years after parents split and went straight to the low socioeconomic class (credentials outside of Canada don't mean anything here, so my guardian had to start all over). I'm 26 now and I can honestly say that it was for the best, you learn to care for yourself and it feels so good to earn your own money from hard work

Some hardship but also opportunities and a social life. And most importantly enough sleep and proper food. It's a fine balance. I know i would have accomplished far more in life so far if my parents hadn't been extremely poor. It really holds you back quite a lot. You can't go out and be social so it's easy to become an outcast. You can't afford clothes so you feel bad about yourself and get looked down at. You can't afford to educate yourself because it requires access to a computer at the very minimum, something i only had very late in life after finally being old enough to work and buying it myself. You can't go straight from high school to college like everyone else either because if your parents have nothing you can't even afford moving out before working a year and saving up. People who grow up with money and opportunities generally have an easier time developing a healthy personality. Less unhealthy stress, enough food, many opportunities, social life, traveling and life experience from it and other things - it all requires money. You don't get discipline from being poor or needing to work a lot. You just are prone to becoming depressed about your outlook in life and upon seeing all the well off kids traveling the world, getting a house kids and car a decade before you could ever hope to. It's not cool. Growing up rich is definitely a very very good thing and greatly improves health, social life, character development and career opportunities. Being poor in the country side leaves you without options. Can't even go anywhere, bad and expensive public transportation and going somewhere with a car is even more expensive and completely off the table

As a child we shouldn't look at the punishment which our parents give us but the reasons and lessons they are trying to teach us, 9 month anger was too much for him but the best results is the kids finally r taking the correct decisions, thanks 🙏

It's sad how this is true almost 99% of the time kids with rich parents are spoiled brats.

@@oneautumnleaf2622 I think it comes down to the person A poor can be as much annoying and bad There was this poem I red in school named Cold Within and that really was showing how every person can be biased and bad I have seen plenty of rich people who are kind and plenty of middle class who think of beggars as fools and lazy

Why does so many movies about rich people teaching their spoiled kids humility involve such convoluted konspiracies all the time. Like, you could just kick them out of the house and tell them to get a real job. Like a normal person.

@timmd8766
@timmd8766 2 жыл бұрын
@@DonJulio1942 That's not really an answer. You understand that, right? So the movie directors are talking with each other and discussing ideas and one of them go: "hey, I wanna have my character act like a person, you know, like a human being" and then aspiring movie director Young, last name Amazing, walks in and object: "but it's a movie, laughing my ass off and off again:" The other movie directors realise in that moment that they can't have their characters act like people. It's a movie after all.

@@timmd8766 Probably because the father feels guilty too much for him to just kick them out and goes too much out of character if he did ,and also not everyone's personality can just do that and kick their children,clearly the personality they picked for the father to act is that way
