It was about time they had a larger home. These guys like tight spaces and a high density population but at some point they simply need larger lands to roam!

What do we think of the colony size now? Will we hit 3000 roaches by the end of Spring?...

Hi Sean, I'm definitely interested in a care guide, especially within a bioactive set up. They would act as a mini "in house" composting unit, and a food source raised in an ethical way. I seem to remember their main drawback was they need to be maintained at a reasonably high room temperature.

I think I might make 2! The inital one being the standard kept setup, and then the bioactive version (assuming it goes to plan aha). They do like high temps but I've got a plan for that, the build I've got in mind will make heating much much easier than using a standard RUB. Thanks for watching! 😄😄

There’s something satisfying watching all those roaches crawl about. Hahaha! That freshly molted roach was a beaut! It looks like some kind of fairy creature! Great vid, thank you for sharing Sean! Keep up the excellent work!!

There really is isn't there haha, I'll upload a 1 hour long vid of nothing but roaches crawling for ya 😂 Right!! I absolutely love catching the freshly moulted roaches in action, they're stunning little things and you can see each and every detail! Thanks for watching Benji 😄😄

Hey Benji! I'm doing good thanks how're you? Thanks for checking in I really appreciate it 😄 I missed 1 upload, then another... Then it just kinda snowballed from there and I let myself get distracted with projects, overtime and relaxing haha. We'll definitely be back soon (I promise), I'm currently working on changing our format a bit, I want to change a few things but still considering options atm. Hoping to start uploading again early next month though, I'll see you soon pal 😄

Can I let in on a old aged secret for cleaning and it being safe. Vinger water mix. For tuff stuff, baking soda, vinger and water and elbow grease. Even lemon is good natural safe cleaner

That's good to know! I was gonna do some research on the topic so when my current spray disinfectant (animal safe) runs out I can make and refill my own one reusing the same bottle instead of wasting it, less plastic y'know

Can a locust and grasshopper be farm /breed in same area are it is not safe to put them in the same area to sell?

Do you mean co-habbing? Mixing frogs and turtles is a really bad idea/practice unfortunately

If you are going to let the roaches eat a pray item intended to Jason I would love to see the skeleton at the end Maybe you could have something underneath to catch all the snake bones :)

I am planning on buying 2 musk turtles and i have a maximum space of 60cm by 45cm is this good enough for them to live a happy life

Sadly musks typically don't do very well paired together, it often ends in fighting over food, space, or other reasons (not always but most of the time very much depending on tank size). Your tank size would be great for hatchlings but far, far too small for adults unfortunately so if that's the maximum size you can accommodate full stop, then sadly it simply wouldn't be big enough. A tank that size would be great for shrimp, small tropical fish or even various inverts like millipedes if that's something you might be interested in?
