Moving Dirt with the Mahindra 1626

In this video, we have some good clean fun while moving top soil with the Mahindra 1626 Shuttle. Sometimes tractor work can be therapeutic. Other times, not so much. Fortunately this was one of those good therapy sessions. 😬

Me and my wife just purchased 18 acres of timber we plan to build on eventually. Have you ever regretted not getting the 1635 over the 1626? I would be mostly moving dirt and bush hogging but would need to drag the occasional tree

I have 8 acres and I think the 1626 is a good fit for my property. In your situation with 18 acres I would definitely recommend a tractor a little bigger than the 1626. Thanks for watching and commenting.

I own a tri-axle dump truck and wanted to purchase this tractor so I can offer to spread the material also. It would be used exclusively for that but only occasionally. That is why I only want to invest in a sub compact tractor and not a skid. Would you recommend this tractor for that purpose? Thanks

Before I owned this property and this tractor, I have had gravel delivered to my business. The guy that delivered it there had a skid steer he used to spread my gravel with. The skid steer is definitely more proficient at THAT TASK. But the tractor is definitely more versatile. My Mahindra 1626 is considered a compact, not a sub-compact. I have used it a lot since purchasing it and my 8 acre farm property. It has done everything I have needed it to do!! Here on my farm property, I have moved and spread 33 tons of gravel when making my driveway. Moved 20 tons of dirt as seen in this video. Bush-hogged heavy growth (small trees) and a whole lot more! So as far as my recommendation: for me and my needs - I highly recommend it. For your needs - a skid steer might be the better choice. But if you’re looking for versatility, then yes, I definitely recommend. Hope that helps. And thanks for watching!!!
