I remember back in 76 and 77 in southern Indiana we had a really wet season water standing in the bottoms the bottom would fall out from under the combined by the time we could get in to shell the corn the stalks were rotten at the roots and falling over a real tangled mess I'm glade to see you getting your corn off before that happened thanks for the work taking us viewers along

Total congratulations to you and your Dad with this massive project. Most impressive performance in my opinion. I'm really pleased for you that having taken the plunge and made the financial commitment and physical effort with these tracks it seems to me that the combine is working well and you are managing to successfully harvest your crops without huge damage to your soils. This is how my old man hauled his combines on the wheat run back in the day when a pickup truck could pull them on a trailer. Hauled them 55's with the front wheels on a rest and rear wheels trailing behind. Unloaded into the old pickup trucks hauling them. We have come a long way in 50 years

You should mount a tile inlet flag on the trailer frame to touch the tip of the center snout on the corn head. That way when the tractor/trailer turns under you just play a video game with the combine steering wheel to keep the flag centered on the snout tip. Make sense?
@thebegrsshow6 ай бұрын
Congratulations, and nice job. Do you know what the length of those tracks are? I was given a set of rubber tracks that have about 50% left on them that I was going to cut and lay down for moving the dozer around with, but if they would fit your set up to cushion the ride a little, you are welcome to have them.

The only 2 complaints about the mover is it needs to be 8-10 inches lower to the ground. And it needs to be done in a way that it’s a 1 man show to make a move.
