Just a tip, when I was moving to my house that I now live in, I wrapped my fragile things with throws and sheets (fitted abd flat), it worked, nothing broke and I was killing two birds with one stone. I also used storage bins so that once I moved I could use the bins in my garage for added storage. Just a tip, but you're killing it girly.

Friendly suggestion: towels/wash cloths could be used in the bottom of boxes/storage containers with fragile items. Also you could line the bottoms and sides with magazines to brace fragile items.

I'm actually in the process of moving myself, just a tip to save on the bubble wrap use. Try to use as much of the stuff you already have, you have to pack it anyway, might as well give it a job! Lol 🤷🏻♀️ You can add extra padding to the boxes for breakables, so towels, blankets etc.. also old newspaper or old Christmas wrapping paper rolls instead of packing paper to save on costs. Oh my tears are in full flow at giving up that BREATHTAKING living room of yours! I'm not even a "blue" person but your living room ALWAYS took my breath away at how you decorated it ... especially the wallpaper & the blue ottoman. But ALL of it was stunning to me. 😢😭🌈 ALSO, I have done SEVERAL long-distance moves, and I learned the great hack of using linens for wrapping delicate nic nacs & breakables. Also for "filler." CAN'T WAIT to see the new place, and Wowza to your new journey❣💥🎈🎈🎈🎈👌👍👌🥳

I am sooo beyond excited for your move!! You coincidently announced your move right around the time I posted about mine to friends and family. My little girl and I are moving from Minnesota to Tampa FL the last week on July. So all of these moving videos and tips are soooo helpful! No one films the actually moving process and I think there’s so much content missed. I’ve always wondered how other people pack up and move to other states. We’re driving also so that’s a road trip I’m excited about.🌞🌊🌴

You’re doing amazing!! It’s going to be a challenge going from a huge house to a smaller house but you’ll adjust. The bigger the space the more we’re prone to filling it up with stuff. You’ll learn to live with less ❤️

It's soooo funny because your house looks so put together but when you start moving, all hells breaks loose and the house becomes so chaotic. We just moved in February into our own house. No more renting but yeah, it's crazy. When I moved, I went to stores and got their boxes so I didn't have to pay for any of it and I did buy packing paper but bubble wrap was a lot so I packed a lot of breakables in wrapping paper that I've had forever and clothes. LOL The label maker is sooo cool! Love how you put what each box has in it, on a label. Too cool!

Use your sheets/bedding, blankets, pillows etc for extra padding on packing fragile things

Something that helps with fragile items is to fill the inside (vases) with Walmart bags of news papers or clothes really anything

Wow! I had forgotten how much work was involved in packing to move. The last house was 8 years ago when we had to pack up my mom's house after she passed. She'd lived there for 50 years. I still have some of those Home Depot boxes left over.

This was the one video I have watched with no Amazon suggestions. Now I want a neat label maker. I have an older one. No pictures, no hooking it to a computer. That is so neat. And if get to move anytime soon I will be getting one of those. I could use that to organize our shed. My husband was supposed to do that. He just shoved all my baskets to the back. But I don’t know what’s in which tote. So next time I will do it. And it will be labeled so we know what’s in the totes. You are so organized. Your move should be easier than mine was three years ago. We lived in our old house 27 years. And we had to clean out the attic first. My daughters had both just thrown stuff up there. We found a lot of junk and old clothes in the attic. Then we had to pack up the house. Actually, my husband did most of it. I wasn’t feeling my best at the time. But we got it done.

Wow I was tired just watching you pack! You never know how much stuff you have until you move. I learned that the hard way. Had to sell and donate some items but you're right it's like a weight of your shoulders. Great job, can't wait to see more moving vlogs!

No need to buy boxes or bubble wrap. Marketplace has people giving boxes away all the time. They normally throw in the Wrapping paper also. A marker will work on the boxes . No need to print labels. My moving cost was tape and a marker. Save your money for something better
