Moving & Taming the Rhino Iguana Cage

I decided to move the rhinoceros iguanas from the front of Kamp Kenan to the back in between all of the ponds. They were still behaving too crazy anytime a human came near and need more contact. Hopefully this will help to tame them up a bit.

Im impressed on how well you handled that puppy on your own Kenan. It's like subcutaneously you built that area specifically for that cage to go there, It fits perfectly looking like it was always there and the plants grew around it. Hopefully the iguanas will become more accustomed to people, being in a closer relationship with the family.

The cage looks fantastic in its new location. I’m sure you’ll have no problem taming them. I’m not sure how exactly Brian Barczyk tamed Bella, but being near people, I’m sure will help. Keep up the great work! I absolutely love watching your videos. 😀

You should build your cages with that landscaping cloth mesh stuff. It looks the same but it's plastic and super strong (expensive however). I built a sugar glider cage using that stuff and pvc pipes. I hope the iguana heals up quick.

Actually, the trolley wasn't a totally bad idea but what you could do is build a different type of trolley/dolly. A large flat board, so it has a greater surface area, with all-terrain wheels, so you could lay the cage totally down on it and just push it over to where you need it. My neighbour is a cabinet maker and built himself one to move furniture about and this is where the suggestion is coming from.

Maybe take off and add the thicker wire on the outside of the wooden structure of the cage, and keep the lighter mesh on the inside? That way there would be a bit of the gap in-between the two wires and possibly less of a chance for them to slam into the harder wire, which they are harming themselves on? Would suck having to do that, but might help? Just a thought. Anyways, I hope they tame up a bit better in the future and heal up well.

Hey Kenan. Why not add on two or at least one side a visual barrier over the wire frame? It should definitely reduce their stress level.

Modular sections. Would make moving, building and rebuilding much faster and easier.

I think you should build an entire Greenhouse over the big pool pond or just a screened-in area over the whole pond so you can still get sun in maybe a little glass stop and Screen sides or wire sides so you can keep some snakes in their iguanas we're make it into Slinkys new enclosure that'd be awesome like a 50 square-foot enclosure for slinky I think he would love that I made a 4 by 4 by 8 foot spot for my 4 ft iguana when I was a kid is awesome there's a cage that was built into my wall next to my closet

wish i had that cage or could affored one half that size. would be able to but I got some real piece of crap family that love to spend all their money a drop respectability on me. know I cant say know we need a handful of stuff that would ne nice to save up.
