Hi mam I want to know that I’m in British Columbia in cambria college with online classes of 1 year in Surrey there are very few jobs so I really want to change my province I wanna go to Calgary for my part time job nd I will take my classes from Calgary is it ok to move or this step put bad impact on my PGWP!!!!!

I'm planning to get a 2 yr program in Ontario but planning to get a job in Alberta after graduation as there is less competition compare in Ontario. Is that possible? Will thay affect my points in getting my P.R in Alberta?

Sure that is possible, but why not go straight to Alberta? The cost of living will likely be lower there as well. You can live and work anywhere in Canada on your PGWP. Hi coach, I'm currently enrolled in northern college in Toronto.I have chosen 1+1 year course in this college. Currently I'm in my first year course but I'm thinking of changing my course and province from my second year program. Will it affect my pgwp ? Would i still be able to get three years of pgwp if i change province for the second year course ? please help me, I'm confused and not getting any positive responses from anywhere.

Hi, You can change it and should still be eligible for a PGWP if you meet the requirements: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/study-permits/post-graduation-work-permit-program/eligibility.html Make sure you update IRCC if you change your program.

If you change your school, you have to inform IRCC about that. Please contact them and let them know the changes you made asap.

hello i am already in canada and i got my study permit and now i am changing my university from one province(vancouver) to manitoba and i also inform IRCC that i had changed school by changing DLI number through my GCkey account . should i need to apply for a new study permit???

If you informed them, they should provide you a updated study permit. It may take them some time to process it. But if you just contact them and not hear anything back, then it is not complete.

@rubensudas8650, after you have enrolled in the new school, You just need to inform them that as all, they don't need to provide you with another study permit in as much you are already in Canada before changing your institution. If you change from outside Canada then you will need a new study permit
