Sorry but as a contractor with 48 years in the business I would never purchase a home from D.R. Horton. This company is terrible and they settled just last year with a entire neighborhood in Easley SC for $16.1 Million. They have had thousands of unhappy homeowners sue them for many years. I have home inspectors tell me all the time of the write ups they do on their homes for a potential buyer. This video you show is just one location in Holly Hill, they also have another location right up the road from this one they just started working on the pre phase construction on which involves prepping the land, putting in utilities and other things before the house can be built.

True, but did any of those people in Easley, have home inspections or did they just listen to the "contractor"? I assume a lot of them didn't have proper home/land/foundation inspections. It's a small cost to ensure your home is built right. 90% of DR Horton home buyers "think" they don't need it. But all contractors have their issues. I am sure you at some point and time haven't done your best work. It's why I say NEVER trust ANY contractor who tells you they're the best or that they believe in quality. They're mostly all the same, so in my humble opinion. EVERYONE needs a home inspection because no matter if you're DR horton or someone hiring you. Everyone messes up at some point. It's all about checks and balances no matter what home you buy. Some people just put on blinders, even contractors.
