I’m moving up in 3 weeks and having cold feet. I’m coming from a completely different climate - equatorial, flat lands, driving on the ‘wrong side’ of the road. Scared as anything, I hope I’m making the right decision!

Utah is amazing! My brother lives in Texas and I've been there many times too and it's amazing for different reasons

Utah is a very good state, in my opinion. Two things I don’t like much I are: weather is too cold and dry for me and I’m very away from my country and family, but it’s nice and safer than other places that I have lived at, like: CA, GA, VA & PA. No place is perfect, we just have to do the best we can and be as nice and kind as we can be with others. Do some research( Scott may help you ) and a lot of praying…for guidance! I lived here from 1982-1985, then husband joined the USMC, and were sent to CA. We retired and returned to live here in 2017! We found a nice noble home in Draper, not too bad at all; actually real nice and adequate for 3 of us!

Yeah, the bad part of Utah weather isn't the temperature, it's the dryness. My knuckles bled every winter there when I was going to BYU, and I wasn't the only one. I thought the seasons were pretty well-balanced overall. Since I wasn't in Salt Lake, I didn't really have to deal with the inversions, either.

Yes, it is dry here! I'm order to prevent that I'm the winter you'll have to moisturize daily

Hi Scott, I just saw your video about Utah and it cut my attention because, my daughter( who is a Utah born ), is currently living in VA, and is alone there without any family and my husband and I live here in Draper ( he’s a Utah born too ), and would like her to move to here so we’ll all be together in one place. I’m a native of Puerto Rico and don’t have any family here either. My husband’s family are Al from here in Utah, so he’s ok. My daughter would like a place that is nice and affordable, with some land to have a few animals; at least some. What would you recommend? She and her husband only, they have no kids and don’t want any either. Thanks for your info video. ¡Muy bueno!
