Ok but why are these absolutely perfect?! The main thing that has been putting me off choosing my first pair is that I wanted an adjustable toe stop but I couldn't find one on an affordable skate. I had been planning on getting all black protective gear and skates, the rainbow stripe black helmet, a rainbow leash and rainbow laces so that they would match any clothes I wanted to wear while still look fun and queer on there own. It's like these were made for me, I just hope they ship internationally (South Africa) so I can get a pair🤞☺

I’ve been trying to find reviews for a few different brands of skates I’m looking at, but I only have found I trust your reviews! Some people just unbox and comment on the colors/aesthetic & while it’s fun to look at how cute the new skates are, I want to know how they actually skate haha so thank you for for always including that in your review. Can’t wait to order the Rainbow Riders as my first pair!!

We are paying a lot more than $99usd here for them in Australia skate shops are $299aud which is $223usd im wanting a pair but even with postage they still cheaper from the US or UK to buy and have them sent

I'm a beginner, but I ordered Beach Bunnies back in August (still waiting for them to ship 😅), if I had known these were coming I would've waited, but glad more people will have a more budget-conscious option from Moxi, they're adorable! 💓

Could you take the skate apart and explain why they wouldn’t be a good choice for the skatepark? Maybe go over some upgrades; like,”keep the boot, but upgrade plate to....” or ”I’d change the bearings to these...” or Talk about different options of trucks for riding bowls? Teach us about skatepark wheel options? Been loving riding and jumping around at the skatepark! I do notice I am having a hard time with pumping, especially pumping backwards even with all the helpful video tutorials. I keep blaming the weight of the skates, but I am well aware I am knew to pumping and it’ll take time. Somehow I keep stopping myself (like putting too much weight on my toes and I end up stoping on my toe stops super high in the bowl or super low where the ground is leveled. Overall I would like to know if I can upgrade the rainbow rider boot so I can have fun inside bowls, thank you!!!

I'll be honest and say that I want to wait to hear what others say about the skate as I do feel like you're too closely associated with Moxi for an unbiased opinion. I definitely do want to get a pair of Moxi's but I just want to hear more opinions. They are definitely cute and I always love a rainbow!

I got these in black and they are so beautiful. They feel a little stiff and I feel like my ankle is not able to move as much as I want, but hopefully, they'll break in. I used them on a rather rough outdoor trail, and while I felt a little vibration under my wheels, they held up well. I am kind of bummed they didn't come with an adjustment tool, but oh well. Overall, very excited about my new skates!!

Definitely reckon these are going to be my next pair of skates! I currently have my first ever pair on the way and I've been eyeing these Rainbow Riders for aaaaages, but they're a little out of my price range at the moment. But once I know I can commit to skating, I'll definitely be buying these. They're SO cute!

They have been in the works since 2019 and they are being shipped internationally instead of being handmade in an American factory.

If you dont want a pattern you could just get the Rookie Artistic skates. They come in black and white and have the same specs and price point of rainbow rider. I have the black ones anf they're still great after a year of use.

@@elinedevlas7301 jep, they are definitely a great skate at an entry level price and there are also many people skating on them at the skatepark. Got them for my niece and two of my friends got them theirselves, one as their first pair of skates and one as their second, upgraded pair (for adjustable toe stops). But I love that moxi has a new entry level skate, cause about 100dollars/euros is the price were most brands got some better quality entry skates with adjustable toe stops and that's what most people are going for when buying their first pair. I probably wouldn't buy them myself as I already have my lunaskates (hyped for their new colours) and my moxi lollys but I think they are cute. I myself like the one coloured skates more, but there are options for that so I don't feel like this design isn't great. Not my style but still hyped because I love seeing good skates be more affordable for new skaters

It could probably be the same reason why the beach bunnies aren’t that great for skate parks. Like all the heavy duty jumping and leaning could wear and tear them faster or something. But that’s just my guess

Miranda Regalado that’s true it might just be quality. I just wanted to know if a beginner could upgrade the skates without buying a completely new pair if they wanted to go to the next level, but it seems like if the problem lies in general quality it’s not really possible

@@lunefish so with this skate as she’s skating I can see they have no like shape and once you learn your edges the actual boots durability with give and tear. I wouldn’t upgrade these skates buttttt you can do whatever you want and if you really wanted to skate the park or jump off some stairs do it but you will need new skates sooner rather than later. That’s all :)

It probably has something to do with the fact that they come with aluminum plates. Metal plates don't "react" as well as nylon ones when you're jumping or otherwise putting a lot of pressure on them. So for that reason you would probably feel super destabilized on them.

First of all- woohoo! Beautiful skates! I love their style and seem more comfortable then Bunnies. I'm am so sad they aren't made here in the USA. Let me remind everyone that Sure Grip is made right here in the US and are the same price range and vegan. The comfort is like a Cadillac and has an adjustable toe stop.

been thinking of upgrading to the rainbow riders from my impalas but i hear the boot is very stiff. i’m looking to get more flexibility in the ankle as that is more comfortable for me especially as someone who skates outdoors, but this skate seems to be the only one with a comfortable foot width. the style is also very cute. anyone have thoughts on this?

I like the Moxi M on these skates but I don’t like it being on the side on the suede boots. I’d rather nothing down the sides of the boot. Maybe on the back bit but I hate logos and brand names being prominent on my stuff.
