The composer - W. A. Mozart - was born in Salzburg, Austria, Europe. The soloist - David Oistrakh - was born in Odessa, Ukraine, then part of the Russian Empire, into a Jewish family. Both are amazing indeed! Music is universal and belongs to everybody in the world - enjoy it! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Oistrakh?wprov=sfti1

David Oistrakh is a great representative man of the russian violin school and soviet culture. Odessa was a Russian city, was founded by the Russian Empress Ekaterina the Great, and was donated by the communists in 1918 when Ukraine was created.shameless Bauman, better give us more details, where were the best people of the jewish nation in your state in the 30-40s last century, when David Oistrakh was a star in Soviet Union??! We all proud of jewish people in Russian culture who was a part of world culture too!

@@konradbaumanngraz In 1908, the state of Ukraine did not exist. David Oistrakh lived in Moscow from the age of 20. At the beginning of the war in 1942, the entire family of David Oistrakh and the families of other cultural figures were evacuated from Moscow to the rear. If the Oistrakh family had lived in Odessa or Kiev during the war, they would have suffered the fate of all the Jews who lived on the territory of Ukraine - they were killed in Babi Yar near Kiev.
