I'm blaming the liquid shooters on show accuracy. I believe all three liquid shooters have been featured in the show at some point.

Best Ironhide figure I’ve ever seen… I love the fact that he is all one piece and his backside doesn’t split into a separate unit.

Not sure if this is one of those things that a hundred people comment on, but the reason the G1 Ironhide toy was so wierd was because it wasn't originally designed to be a transformer as we know them- when they first came up with the toy it was intended to be a pilotable mech type thing, where a person would sit in the seat behind the windshield to control the robot

MP Ironhide also has a 3rd alt mode where he can transform into his original G1 Robot toy version with his windshield face!:)

On a positive note, this is probably the most excited a large group of people have ever been about owning a mini-van! Ironhide should really have a few words with Teletraan 1 about that decision. Or maybe he just drew the short straw and Prime made him stick with it, leading to the first and greatest ever "BUT, PRIME!!!"

I absolutely love this figure. I just received him and think they did a great job. The chest/belly doesn’t bother me near as much in person as it did in the video. Pretty cool transformation too. And wayyy to many accessories. But more the merrier I guess.

this is an incredible transformation. finally one that is show accurate. (99% anyways, which is closer than any other version has ever come to getting a show-accurate representation.)

The hands shoot cement. The spouts shoot nitrogen and the round spouts shoot hot lead. Thats nice. The sonadar sensor is from the dinobots episode.

The liquid shooters let you choose to make Ironhide into Mega Man (round), Cyborg 004 (fingertip barrels) , or a Dustbuster (rectangular ducts). Cool skit at the end hahaha!

30 years we had to wait for a decent looking Ironhide. I think he's awesome. That G1 toy was the worst looking thing ever. It's so bad, it's funny.

I plan on transforming my MP Ironhide tomorrow. I'm still a little miffed with Takara for giving jetpacks to MPs like Hide and Bee but NOT giving a jetpack to MP Swipe. On a side note, I'm soooooooo looking forward to finally having a Masterpiece for everyone's favorite grumpy CMO.

The two Vans are the same size because all Masterpiece figures (Since MP-10) are in exact 1:32 scale. I am sure whoever the designers were for the Third Party Ratchet kept with that, making him and the official Masterpiece the same size.

Ironhide just loves saying or yelling out his leader's name, does he not? :D

The scan in his chest is actually an x-ray of the Triceratops dino they find when they are looking where the tremmors are coming from in the base. Episode 8. S.O.S. Dinobots.

You probably knew this already but the G1 face was meant to be a seat for a Diaclone driver, making the "robot" more of a mecha. But yeah, weird when translated to Transformers. :-)

The read out is from when they thought frinzzy was making a earthquake but is was a empty cavern where the dinosaur skeletons were which inspired the creations of the dinobots.

I think this figure is great! Fun to transform and not flimsy. Great!

Probably hard for emgo to see in his viewfinder but Ironhide looks a tad taller than Ratchet to me. Great reviews as always though. Emgo is simply the best at this.

I like the side panels there cool in my opinion

G1 Ironhide along with some of the other early G1 toys was actually a sorta not really fleshed out character made by a different company that they essentially stole, repainted, renamed, and then sold and made a super successful character. That's why the G1 toy looks weird. Because it wasn't based on the Ironhide character.

I don't remember the g1 cartoon very much, but I'd assume he uses all these different liquid shooter designs.

the pieces on the side could have been more like side skirt armor, but still an awsome figure ^w^

why I get the urge to want to paint it in megaman colors while looking at it

I luv the figure, just wish the alt mode was a little smaller and I wish the sled had the treads like on the g1, maybe a third party will make some.

I saw the upgrade kit for him it gets rid of those side panels but in the pictures you can see the pegs ground off. Leaving marks on his waist I don't really know if I'd get that kit not comfortable ruining a masterpiece just to lose those panels.

in the g1 cartoon the luiquid shooters all shoot diffrent liquids. i dont know what they indevidualy shot out but i know they shot diffrent liquids

I believe one liquid shooter is water, one for freezing liquid nitrogen or equivalent and one for fire extinguisher liquid if I remember original g1 cartoon correctly

Finally, a good Ironhide figure.

The hinge on the heel on mine were so tight I thought I was gonna brake it other than that such a great figure

Wow, I thought the sled was part of the alt mode too! The figure just got 10x cooler because it's not.
