I really liked when you started introducing your own bass and guitar playing at 9:28. I absolutely love the high art of finding and repurposing samples from other people's music, but there's something extra cool about using your own recordings in that same way

The jam with the mellowtron is niiiice, the one with the female vocals is a vibe, 4-25 could make it on a lofi station.

These beats are dope. The guitars/ strings do add character. 4. 18. 1 - guitar and Bass are killer. 4.20 - sounds like a RZA beat, in fact, I hear Rza rapping over this beat. 4.22.2 - the Melotron is just smooth. 4.23 - Samples are killer, the beat is gritty but the hats kinda over punch through the beat. 4.25 - over time might grow on me... But I'll be interested in knowing where you got that sample from. 4.27 - yesssss...... Killah beats, the splice sample reminds me old Wu-tang songs... Overall, impressive effort! Watching from Lusaka, Zambia - Central Africa!!

You make some dope tracks. I liked all of them , Punk and Hip hop had artist at CeeBee Gee Bee's in NYC on the same night both intense . Gotta use raw music HipRock sounds like a great name for that type of style.

I love the beats, Matthew. They sound great! Quick question: For a newbie, assuming money isn't an issue, would you recommend the MPC One or the Live II? Thank you again for posting this video and I am so glad you are back. Happy Thanksgiving. Blessings.

They both run the same OS but the Live 2 has more connectivity and bigger pads. It really comes to preference. Once you learn either you get muscle memory and can knock out songs fast.

So I got a question I am using the the Akai MPK mini and been watching your videos and I am trying to put sequences together on MPC beats added guitar sounding pretty cool however when I make several sequences and go to song mode when I try to put them all together it automatically turns off all the other tracks I have made or mutes them and I keep going back to turn them on but it keeps repeating the problem everytime so I can't get to the next step and put it all together.

Hay Matthew. Can you sample in Controller mode on the MPC One? I've tried everything I know and I can't figure out how to sample with the MPC software routed to my MPC One. I'm using my turntable. I have to sample in Standalone mode and switch back to Controller mode.

Thanks! I only balanced out the levels on the MPC as I am going. I haven’t really mixed them yet. But usually I mix them in ableton live.

Hello, I don't know which one to choose, Force or Live 2? I need a sequencer that will be a drum machine and a traditional sequencer. So it played normal midi tracks (not clips). I want to connect a midi interface or splitter to it so that the midi signal goes to my eight hardware synthesizers. Which one will be better for me??

Does phono plug into the live 2? I’m about to make a bunch of purchases. And I’m not sure how limited I am for record players that are compatible with the Live 2. With the bare minimum

Hi! I'm having trouble saving project and have just lost 2 songs ive created in Mpc beats software. At first it said error saving project. So I then went to start a new project and didn't save. But was saved up to the point where it last did save. I then tried reloading the project and it was no longer there. I am now concerned with weather its worth writing any more songs on there. Is there anything I can do please to correct this error or even revive the songs created? Thank you..Will

Hello, could someone please help me I'm using mpc beats why I can't hear my recording output? I can hear my guitar signal but not the recorded audio how to put volume to my recording?
