Tried cutting some aluminum today and it went better than expected. You can just ignore the left part of the aluminum block haha Affiliate link to the bit I'm using: amzn.to/3rNewgM

I work as a mechanical engineer making portable machine tools. On a recent job, we were forced to make a machine that was less than ideally stable for cutting inconel. We found that results were greatly improved with an air blast to reduce the chances of recutting chips. Other MPCNC users have found the same thing cutting aluminum. Great job so far.

Glad to see you back with some more Primo updates. Really enjoying your CNC videos! I've been a sub for about a weekish now. :)

It would be nice to get some talking head/more detailed videos on the CNC too though. ;)

Looks good, how do you like the changes? Are they worth converting from the original mpcnc for an occasional hobby user? thanks for the updates...

Yeah I guess I meant how big a difference in performance/capabilities is there between the burly and the primo? If I just print the new parts and stay with 3/4 conduit would there be any real improvement or is most of your gain coming from the 1" pipe upgrade? I am happy with the burly I built but am thinking of trying some aluminum in the future so might just build new with shorter dimensions for that.
