MPCNC Rambo Issue

**Update 10/12/2020**
New board came in over the weekend and firmware flashed on it with no issues, the machine is back up and running. I am still tinkering with the old board to see if I can resurrect it but am likely going to move on. Thank you everyone for the comments and ideas!
Quick video about an issue I'm having with my Rambo board. I have a new one on the way but would still like to figure out what is going on with this one. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I'm all ears.

I had this issue just recently, I was trying to install an lcd screen and then everything went to pot so I tried reflashing with the ardunio software without any luck so I switched to platformio and after trying different firmware I finally got it back up still no Lcd but thats ok. Oh, I also changed out the wires to the terminal block.

I know you said you voltage is good but where are you taking reading from? It could be that you are able to supply power to the board but its fried somewhere else. Also, look to see if there is any corrosion anywhere on the board. Lastly, when it died during the job, did it just die or did you hear anything odd? Sorry this happened to you. Also, try to use a different USB cable without extensions directly to your computer.

I attempted to flash the dual endpoint firmware when I first got my rambo board and I got the same error message as you in arduino IDE. The solution was to hold the reset button for a few seconds, a solid yellow light will come on the board. When the yellow light is on, hit upload. That solved the issue for me, hopefully you get the same results.

Your programmer looks okay, and the correct board is selected. Try the reset button as listed above.

@@ProjectsbyBrian not that I'm aware of. Try a 2 second press and then a longer press. Outside of that id have to look up a rambo manual to see what the yellow light means.

@@ProjectsbyBrian Any luck? Also I saw you had a laser attachment on your burly. What laser did you end up running? I'm going to try to get a laser setup on my primo.

you want to get that mpcnc to the next lvl 1 usb mach3 and 2 mach3 trust me you will see a new cnc at the next lvl

how did you set it up to use the computer? just finished my mpcnc primo. can use the lcd control bit computer cannot connect to it?

downloaded and tried it on 2 laptopsvsee the com ports and the movement buttons highlight when clicked on but nothing moves. tried with and without lcd controller connected. is there a jumper I need to install on the rambo board? Thanks for your hellp. Much appreciated.

Reboot your PC? It probably is not the cause, but it is worth a try

@@ProjectsbyBrian did you try to Flash the firmware with the same PC that was also connected when cut failed? I fly quadcopters which connect via com-port too and with some PCs I suddenly wasn't able to connect to the copter via USB anymore (on one PC the solution was disabling Bluetooth -_-)
